dpstq 3 March 30, 2014 Share March 30, 2014 I'm working on a collection of MLP:FIM inspired songs on my free time and plan to make a album from this collection of songs. I am writing the lyrics and playing the music myself, I just need two singers to sing the vocal parts of the songs. The reason I'm looking for a male and female singer is because all of these songs will be sung by a male with the exception of one song, and that one song will be sung by a female. The songs that I'm working on are based on American roots music, the songs will have a Blues, Country or Rock & Roll style to them, with the exception of one song that will have a Caribbean style. The songs are still in production, but if everyone dose there parts on time, then the album will be release this summer.If you want to join this project then just send a short sample of your singing to dpstq88@Yahoo.com or send your audio sample to this post with a link. Make sure that when you send your audio, save your audio as a mp3 file. We'll take time to make sure that everything sounds good, I can coach you on the sound of your singing so that the sound will come out just right, just send me your first version of the sound and pacing of the voice, I'll review it and we'll keep tweaking it until it comes out the way it should.It will mean so much to me if I can get some help with this project. man dude man 555 April 1, 2014 Share April 1, 2014 I would gladly, but I am partially with Billy here in a way, more so in the sense that we will need to know what melody to vocalize the lyrics to, even if we are singing over a crap vocalist, it's better to know how to harmonize the lyrics before you start rather than trying to come up with something that wasn't orignally intended for the song. Not that I'm looking for a Trixie singing voice, but I would like to have the sassiness and tantalizing aspects of Trixie's personality to add a little bit of a exotic sound to the voice. So the voice should be soft, genital, smokey, sassy, tantalizing and exotic for the majority of the song, but there will be times when the voice will sound slightly harsh and demanding like in the original demanding parts of the song, lines like "The way you're always runnin' 'round/I just can't stand it, the way you always put me down" and"You better stop the things that you do". The idea would be to make those lines more "annoyed" sounding then "Furious" sounding while not losing the overall spitfire tone of the voice when these lines are spoken.
