AstralTide 7 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Just a heads up that I and one of my roommates came down with the stomach flu after and at the con respectively. The good news is that if you don't have it yet, you probably won't get it, but if you do here's a link to some of the ways to deal with it: http://www.healthline.com/health-slideshow/best-remedies-stomach-flu I'm working on my OC Astral Tide, and I'd love your feedback. Duster Dawnhorse 248 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 Ouch, sucks for your poor roomie. I just got a sore throat and had my voice cracking constantly for the last two days. And a little sore but that comes with con activities (and crawling under my table several times a day.) I just call the voice loss the Con Crack. Got it after AX and certainly had it after BABS from yelling a lot. FoqueMe 44 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 I likely did get stomach flu, but mistook it for a constant hangover until I was on my way home. I don't think it was food poisoning, since I did not eat anything on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, (with the exception of an olive in a hotel martini on Friday) and Saturday afternoon is when I started feeling not as great. But save for a stomach that rued the day I ever did anything, ever, I didn't really have a fever or anything, and I didn't really start feeling anything until I started eating real food.
