Applebloom and the Child-like Empress

So this is a watercolor painting I did for a young friend of mine in my theater group.

We were rehearsing the play version of The Never Ending Story, and her character was the Child-like Empress.

We both love My Little Pony, and her favorite character is Applebloom, so as a little watercolor practice and a gift, I painted Applebloom and the pony version of the Empress.

 

To explain, Applebloom has wings because a common inside joke within my group is that everything gets wings in the basic version of the script. Seriously, they grow imaginary "wings" and can just "fly" away out of problems.

So, Applebloom got wings from some reason.

The speech comes from the line "You have wings, Atreyu!".
