Does anyone keep their MLP toys or merchandise in mint condition?

I remove the packaging because sometimes I get the urge to do so, ya know what I mean? Some things are meant to be opened. I tend to throw away the boxes/wrappers/etc but all the merch I own are always kept in like new/good conditions as much as possible.
