The Crystal Empire Saga - Act 3: Looking for Singers

Hello. I'm Arkane. I am looking for 2 male vocalists and 1 female *DEDICATED* vocalist. This is for the finale act of The Crystal Empire Saga, of which I'm sure you haven't heard of.

 

If you'd want to get into speed about what it is, listen to them. The first act is 10 minutes and the second act is 14 minutes.

I want to add singing because I need to step it up. The first act was a mere audio drama, summarizing the story but giving it enough aesthetic for it to be enjoyable. I then added character conversations and slipped in another genre which is symphonic metal in Act 2 to ante things up a bit.

 

I wanted to increase the quality for Act 3 hence why I want to add singing.

 

Requirements:

• A decent mic with a real or ghetto pop filter.
  
• Always available to contact. That means when I PM you, I will expect you to reply within the next hour or two. Timezone is considered, ofcourse.
  
• Delivers results within a considerable amount of time. The minimum time I give for deadlines is three days. The maximum is two weeks. If you think you'll be busy, I suggest not applying for this. Hence why I'm looking for dedicated people. People who will consider giving a time of their day for this. Though I'm sure that I'll be asking you to do recordings in a sporadic time frame given the current nature of the still unexpanded story.

• As long as you think you can sing, your welcome to jump along. I will contact you for my comments and suggestions. Do not think my lack of knowledge on music and its terminologies and technicalities renders me incapable of giving proper critique. I've conducted tons of choirs during the past few years so I can confidently say that I know what I'm doing. I often critique in a positive way so don't worry. I'll probably end up encouraging and spoiling you while pointing at your flaws.
  

 

Voice Range:

• Male Vocalist A "The Champion": As long as you can sing. Bonus if you can do a raspy vocals. High to Low.
  
• Male Vocalist B "The Black King": As long as you can sing. Bonus if you can do a raspy vocals. Medium to Low. Your voice will be filtered to make it sound demonic.
  
• Female Vocalist "Crystal Maiden":  As long as you can sing. Bonus if you can do opratic. High to Medium.
  

 

Remember: This will be set in a symphonic metal genre. The probability of this having high notes is low to impossible.

 

What you get by participating:

Aside from recognition and something to put into your portfolio, you get absolutely nothing. I intended this project to be fun and not as a means to get popular. Yes, I sounded mean and inconsiderate when giving the requirements earlier, but when we go full production, I guarantee you that the project will be laid back.

I will send in an audition in time but not in or for the next 3-4 weeks... XD
I have 4 scientific reports to write up this week and exams are looming on the horizon...

As for sample songs.. would you prefer something like Chant of Immortality by 4everfreebrony, obviously I'm not the singer but would you prefer that as something to off of for my audition?
