I watched the WHOLE thing

I must say, you make some excellent points - I was a bit skeptical, given this is a video from someone I've never heard of in regards to the analyst community, which receives a lot of criticism in of itself I didn't know what to expect of the quality of this video, but this is anything better than Digi has put out, to be honest - maybe because you don't sound bored to tears and have some charisma as well as making points that seem to be objective rather than subjective claiming to be objective.

 

I will say, however, that the analyst community has been stupidly over-critical lately - the show isn't flawless, and some episodes do suck, including some from the recent seasons - but, the thing is, from what I see, is that there's no more bad episodes in S4 than there are in S1 and S2 - people are just becoming overly critical about every single episode, when, even though criticisms are good and actually somewhat needed, some of these episodes aren't as bad as they're being made out to be - I still find S4 to have the same quality as S1 and S2 did, so I don't know what's up with this nonsense.

 

Excellent video, though - far better than what I was initially expecting

You also make some excellent points.  But I think an analyst should be able to analyze the show without being overly critical of the decisions the writers make, instead leaving that job up to the critics or reviewers.  And us little-known upstart analysts do make some quality stuff, especially since we have to eke out every view and don't get the automatic ones Digi et al get  Plus, not speaking for Looney Turtle, but I'm a perfectionist (I think he is too).  And being older than most and holding a day job in an analytical role gives me a more unique perspective sometimes, I think.
