Shot in 1953, this film utilizes not only a creative story for its time, but many special effects that were top of the line. Many double exposures, explosives, hand drawn and well enough makeup went into the set of this movie to give it the horrifying results they wanted.

The style follows that of a horrible counterpart, Cloverfield, in that it is shot with a camcorder.
