Shot in 1953, this film utilizes not only a creative story for its time, but many special effects that were top of the line. Many double exposures, explosives, hand drawn and well enough makeup went into the set of this movie to give it the horrifying results they wanted.

Rec is a horror film shot in Spain. It was simplistic with no extra effects and nothing but senseless zombies and their habits. The style follows that of a horrible counterpart, Cloverfield, in that it is shot with a camcorder. And while the action was minimal, the spanish screaming was abundant as your ears nearly bled through the whole movie.

As it progresses, the twisty works of Stephen King take into affect and begin to make you guess what will happen scene after scene--keeping you, the viewer, waiting for the next revelation.
Each thing the room can throw at the main character slowly progress as each threat becomes more and more apparent. And while he can't get out, h
