No smug, narcissistic, or self-deprecating humor today, folks. Those of us celebrating Thanksgiving, go be with your friends and family! Make sure to tell them how much you care about them.
And if you are in a non-Thanksgiving-celebrating country, go out and hug a stranger! Tell them they are important and awesome and you'll be their friend. It's a great feeling.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I'm thankful for the awesome people I've met here and all the support you've given me. Thank you
So after finding the attached sitting Lyra cut-out on My Little Brony a couple weeks ago, my friend (hi NeonDinosGoMeow) suggested that I stick her in various spots while I'm in New Mexico, most notably the start line for my race. I figured, "Why stop there?" and need suggestions/ideas for other places to stick sitting Lyra. But that's not all.
I know I have absolutely zero chance at doing any kind of good at Nationals; there are just too many faster guys. Thus, I want to have fun with it an
So if you remember from my earlier blog posts, today was the Regional meet for the Junior Olympics. I actually JUST got back to the hotel room; naturally, the first thing I wanted to do was log onto the Forums and make a post about the results.
Yeah, no fancy storytelling or sarcasm from me this time, mainly because I'm super tired. All you need to know:
I MADE IT TO NATIONALS.
Yup, top 20 from Regionals make it and I just happened to place 20th. So I'll be training hard the next th
First day of high school swim team practice was today. You'd think that, after suffering through it for two seasons already, I would know that the first practice always sucks.
Always sucks.
Always.
But the little Kolth in my head was saying "Nope, this'll be fun! Truuust me." I should have remembered that this was the same little Kolth whose brilliant Spring Break idea left me without pants in eastern Canada with a crate of rubber chickens, but he's a silver-tongued devil.

Yay.
So there is ANOTHER big event next Saturday (I believe it is next Saturday...). Regionals in Spokane, Washington. Top twenty or so qualify for nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Time to step up my game, yo.
Wouldn't that just be the ultimate cage-fight? Me, my astronomy teacher who is half my height, and the assistant math teacher who used to be in the U.S. Air Force.
So this entire week, my school has been doing various fundraisers for the Tree of Giving, which helps give toys to underprivileged children. Most of the events were staple high school fundraisers (food-eating contests, pay-for-a-prank [which ended with my math teacher smashing a phone with a ballpoint hammer in front of me - hila
A writing blog is not enough. I must also rant about my daily life as well.
So the cross-country season ended last Wednesday, but that doesn't mean running is over for ole' Kolth. No sirree. This Saturday is one of the biggest and most important races I've ever entered myself in: the Junior Olympics.
Well, the state level. BUT STILL.
Last year my Asian buddy (hi NeonDinosGoMeow) entered J.O, and he managed to make it through state and regionals and qualified for Nationals. This year
