About this blog

Figured a lot of text I write just goes lost when in status updates, so I might blog about them instead.

First few posts are likely to be quotes or repeats of some status updates I wrote already but which you might have missed.

Learning skills

First off: You are not worthless. No matter what other people say, this will never change for me. I know life hasn't been easy on you, but none of this is your fault! Citing from V for Vendetta: I do not know who you are, but let me tell you, that I love you. The same is true from me to you. You might feel that you are not living up expectations in society. You got no obligations to anyone as long as you don't harm anyone, and in case something doesn't feel right or you feel obliged to obta

Improving social self-confidence and experiences

The social insecurity dilemma. This seems like a devil's cycle many are in, and I was likely much as well: Feeling uncomfortable around other people, interacting with them, going to such social events and group - because we think we suck at them. And thus, we avoid them. Why do we feel so insecure in the first place? Our brain makes connections and associations with our current situation and experiences in the past. The more it has to relate to: The more secure we will be in the cur

Looking back!

This is more educational or entertaining than other of my posts here, I suppose, and less surprising. Today, I stumbled across my school report from 2nd grade, where I was about 9 years old. It lists different behaviors and judges them, aside from simply subjects. I am described with difficulty to socialize, to dislike PE/sports, liking games, not too interested in helping others, bad handwriting, organized. This isn't true for all of them, but I am baffled how many of them stayed

Breaking free? An experiment.

I am atm like 10h on the machine, and mostly like a zombie, distracting myself over and over again for hours while playing f2p games. I restore the firefox session each time, get my 50 notifications on MLPF and then....well, being busy for some hours. It feels I lack awareness to many things, or motivation. I want to test out something. I will disable new SU notifications for people I follow. I will still get these if you tag me or put a quote of me, or I have replied to it or hav

How confessing helps us to accept our own misbehavior

Or: What I, as a non-Christian person, have learned from the method of confessing. Have you done things in your life you are not proud of? That you don't think have been fair and just? I know I have. I am not talking about confessions in necessary the sense of to a priest or the Lord, or to the church in general. How do you confess? I think...you need to do start with confessing to yourself. If you can't believe or are not honest to yourself, you cannot be to others, o

Dark, obsessive, aggressive and unwanted thoughts.

Since this has been the topic recently for some users...I decided to simply shortly blog about it. You might be having thoughts of harming others, being a hero, put yourself into the center of attention in any weird way. You hate them, you wonder why you get these thoughts you do not want to be part of you. You are not alone. It is a pretty widespread thing. You aren't the only person having these thoughts - in fact, most people are. I had these myself and struggled with them. Som

Think positive!

Some of you might know already I am in mental treatment in general. I started a Group Therapy this Tuesday. The focal point is social competence. We were introduced into the concept of self-verbalization. Basically, TLDR; Situation | v Self-Verbalization | v Feelings | v Acting Whenever we encounter a situation, we usually start to initially thinking stuff and saying it to ourselves. TBH, for myself, it is often stuff that is

So, a lil opinion experiement.

Considering I might have changed a bit recently, and hopefully so, I wonder, how have my opinions and reactions been altered? So let's play a tiny game. Post quotes from posts I have responded to and let's see what I'd answer today, without intentionally looking up my original reply. Feel free to leave a link after I have answered.

"It doesn't feel right"

Hi! I posted this before as a status update, but I figure it might not get the attention it deserves, plus it would be a pitty if it would disappear and getting forgotten too soon. Here it is hopefully more...persistent. If you don't care about that sexual discovery of mine and everything bound to it, you will find a short piece from this text in a spoiler which concerns our own values and where they origin from.
