The whole ordeal really irks me. Why would a standout football star who would have female classmates throwing themselves at him cultivate an online romance? Why would Ronaiah Tuiasosopo impersonate a woman on the phone and online to court Te'o? Why, in a day and age kids are taught to be Internet savvy, didn't Manti keep his emotions in check? Manti should have insisted on a real life meeting and when Ronaiah refused enough times, Manti should've broken up with "Lennay".
