to me, steampunk is the most badass style in existence

It's kind of like a genre, where everything is mechanical and steam powered. From watches to airplanes, everything resembles the inside of clock. That's the most basic way I can put it.

Steampunk is my favorite subculture/art style-type thing ever. It's basically just a mix between the looks of the Victorian times and modern looks too. Sometimes it even uses futuristic ideas, like robots and stuff.

I love it, really.
