2014, Once a great year, now a total disaster

2014.

I had thought this year would improve after my grueling years of college. I had high hopes that I would be able to work and make amends by earning money on a daily life, just to buy new things all for myself. And I had always thought that I would start a collaborative work with my newly equipped Wacom tablet. Ever since, I was cherished with the blessings of taking a long, wanted break.

...

Or so I thought. Once a great vacation after a hard-earned studies, now became a nightmare. For unknown, yet stupid reasons, after handing out my resumes in being hired for my very first job, it clearly never happened as months went by. Its as if, despite my efforts, my opportunity has slipped by repeatedly, with no end to it. Instead of a job, I sat here, for the entire six months with no phone calls for a job interview. And before you tell me "Just tell them to make them hire you!", I wish it was that easy. Companies are very picky on which people they can hire, and to date, I'm not in this list. It just proves the government from where I live would increase the unemployment rate (which is at 14% this year), instead of decreasing it, whenever he feels like it, thus lowering my chances of ever getting a job.

And to add insult to injury, I'm now faced with two impossible choices, be it a desktop PC or BronyCon after my next week's graduation. My goal is to get at least $2k (plane ticket included) for BronyCon. This also backlashes the fact that I need a desktop once and for all so that I can draw freely, and digitally, but now it will never happen because my laptop clearly denies my Wacom tablet, and after a few days, it began to lag, thus refuting my chances of ever drawing.

Before you tell me to buy PC parts, let me tell you this; I am short on cash right now, so buying PC parts only leaves me completely broke, with no cash to spend with. At all. And even with a lot of money, it would be going to BronyCon instead of PC parts, so that makes those two choices completely impossible.

The reason why I haven't been on the forums lately because I was busy lamenting for the following reasons; no job, no desktop to go for, and no money. And no, I'm not completely broke, but my funds are very insufficient, to the point where I have to vent the people from where I live to not build a desktop for me, because either they're too busy with life issues, or they simply don't feel like it.

In another, unrelated news, I realized Canada, while still awesome, has become known for its high tax rates, but guess what? So does the US, mainly Hawaii, so I reconsidered going to Canada, and live there, and sought my eyes to Finland instead. Why Finland, you may ask? Well, Finland's education are one of the best, compared to my own. I only earned my bachelor's degree in Puerto Rico, but I aim to earn my master's degree in Finland, even live there. Much better and reasonable than in PR.

So once again, unless people would generously build a PC for me (keyboard included), I have no other choice but to stick with my laptop and console gaming for the time being, even draw it traditionally (with the wrist-brace, of course), despite that it won't improve my mood from the lackluster amount of cash in me.

If that won't happen, then my chances of being an artist is ruined. I know you'll tell me to say "never say never", but times like this when my laptop's inferior qualities proves that a desktop is nowhere near worthwhile with its high prices and such, PC parts included.
