Toffee Walnut received his cutie mark when he discovered the sweets shop, Sugarcube Corner. He took aim and shot a pebble right through Mrs. Cake's freshly baked tier cake. She had just set the cake in the display window, which was open, when it suddenly erupted in her face, spraying cake and frosting all over the shop. Of course Toff was scolded, but following that incident, his cutie mark appeared. It was an exact copy of the real one he played with everyday.

Originally from Cloudsdale, Toffee made his way to Hollow Shades via train to visit a cousin. He loved it so much he stayed. He often can be found in Ponyville, playing pranks on his friends and eating sweet chewy treats. He has a secret crush on Pinkie Pie.
