Double feature as we approach our Closing Time on this fine Sunday morning. I'm going to miss making these. Who knows, if enough people want one, I might do another one featuring recordings from the 19th century, rare as they may be. In the meantime, check back in 1999 and I'll hit you Baby, One More Time. Word of warning, though: It's not a pop song.
Britney Spears and Semisonic.

To be fair, I do believe what Britney's producers say about the fact that she gets regularly involved in the album making process despite not writing most of her songs, plus she's a nice person and I enjoy her dancing. Her work hasn't been as strong recently, except maybe for Perfume, but I still like her. Disappointed with how the media treats her.

Congragulations on finishing this series, by the way, I enjoyed it (:

Grazi.

Yeah, I admit that Britney wasn't bad in the late 90s and early 2000s. I'm particularly a fan of the song "Toxic" from 2003, it just sounds like something out of a Bond film. Epic. Recently, though, she's bellyflopped so hard onto my shitlist that I'm wondering what I ever saw in her. That song "Hold it Against Me"? I feel comfortable calling it the single worst song I've ever heard in my life. Regardless of how much of that travesty was her doing, none of her other recent stuff has been any good either, so I'm not exactly tempted to give her a pass on it.

I'll respect your opinion. I have so far managed to sneak into the Beatle fandom despite actually liking modern music (yeah, I know that you don't like it, I can see why, I will respect any opinions as long as they aren't used for ad hominem), so.

From post 2007 I can select Circus, Perfume, Womanizer and Work B**ch are fun to dance to but they're not neccesarily good, that's it. Her tours are still pretty amazing, though.
