We're finally getting decent enough weather, I can finally do this.:fluttershy:

 

Starting my DJ project. Firstly stripping all the 11 year old paint off. The chemical paint stripper I picked is called "Circa 1850" It's been my go to stripper for a few years. It's very effective it started bubbling the paint off within seconds of applying it. And Yes, I wore gloves. ;)

Almost 3 hours later, this was the result...I'll be finishing it up tomorrow. I'm going to be leaving it as the raw aluminum and putting a protective clear coat over top of it. :squee:

This is just the beginning, I've got lots more to come. :kindness:

 

I also want to name her, although I"m not sure what. You guys have any suggestions?

Hmm, a question so I may think of a name better, what kind of project creation will it be. Also, nice work and effort so far, keep at it as call this poster impressed.

Thanks! Even though this stripper is powerful, it still takes effort with all the nooks and crannies such as in the welds, but it's still hell of a lot easier than sanding the frame down by hand.

Since you painted your bike Lilac purple i think the name Lilac is actually a cute name for a bike. In a sentence "I'm on my way to your house mate it will take a bit since I'm taking good old Lilac there"
