People on both sides of the law were "shocked" when Batman killed two men who were robbing a bank in east Gotham. The robbery commenced when three men wearing masks entered with automatic weapons and demanded money. They were interrupted by none other than Batman, the elusive and enigmatic vigilante. What happened next is best described by the surviving robber, who speaks from custody.

"We were just robbing the place when the goddamn batman comes in! We were thinkin', hey, he only works at night, why is he here now? Is he trying to take out a loan or something? Cuz I mean, the insurance on that badass car he drives can't be cheap. So anyway, he walks in just like some normal guy and he starts yellin at us. We couldn't really understand him, but then he pulls out this 9 mil and fuckin shoots Steven! Seriously, what the fuck, Batman!"

Perhaps the most suprising aspect of all this is that it happened at approximately 2:20 PM, in broad daylight. Initial concerns that it may have been a fake batman were allayed when several batarangs were found embedded in the walls, as well as a spray can labeled "crowd-repellant batspray". Lab reports conclude that the can was filled with highly concentrated mace mixed with an unknown acidic compound.

A note was found on one of the bodies. The handwriting is extremely shaky and has been analyzed, but no matches have been found yet. The note reads:

I'm tired of nobody taking me seriously. I'm the goddamn Batman, I beat the shit out of criminals every single night, but people still commit crimes. Are you all fucking dense? Are you retarded? Seriously, shape the fuck up!

Now that I've shot some bitches, maybe you will all realize that I'm not just fucking around in a bat costume. This is serious fucking business and I will kill you if you don't GTFO my city.
