I really love how you related the episode to an event in your real life. When these episodes portray us, how we feel and how we react, it really reaches us on a deeper level and makes itself, the writers, and the show on the whole look so much better. I really love it when analysts can relate what goes on in the show to events that happen in real life.

I know exactly how you feel. I've done the exact same thing on MLP Forums and in real life quite a bit and often regret doing so. It's really ten times worse when the other person is actually good at something you are good at as well, which you've touched on and, as a matter of fact, contributed to what's considered one of the top episodes of Season 4, "Pinkie Pride". Jealousy really makes for a great plot driver as I explained in a previous blog, and I'm very intrigued by how this episode touched you.
