So? You maybe asking? "Hey, King of Depravity! Why review Lego Ninjago". I answer; "Well why not?". And seeing as some are fans of said show.. on the forums, I also thought since some of you are fans of the show, I was like? Why not... So here we all are, full circle at last....
So now we go, and boy. Alot of things happen.... alot. (spoilers... duh)

Basic Overview- The show is set in the fictional world of Ninjago, a place inspired by Chinese and Japanese myths and culture. The land is divided between Ninjago proper and the Dark Island, where the Overlord resides. It has an underworld, where beings of evil like Lord Garmadon and the Skullkins dwell, together with sacred places where many things are hidden or forgotten (like the Serpentine tombs or the Golden Weapons). Similar to Lego's past product line Bionicle, the main characters are in tune with certain elemental properties (the elements in this case being Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, and Creation.) While featuring several historically designed buildings and traditional clothing, Ninjago is a modern setting incorporating large metropolises with skyscrapers, current-age (and futuristic) vehicles, modern electronics and semi-robotic exo-suits; among other temporal displacements.

Afterwards, everyone rejoices and a figure of Garmadon is carved into the Corridor of Elders. Lloyd, the ninja, Nya, Wu, and Misako gather around a campfire, speak words about Garmadon, then burn the spellbook. All seems to be well, however, a shadowy figure flies through the air, the figure then speaks the word: "Morro." (before the current season).

Plot- Lloyd goes on a mission by himself, then realizes it was a trap set by the Ghost Ninja Morro, who escaped the Cursed Realm and intends to possess Lloyd. After possessing Lloyd, Morro goes to Sensei Wu's tea shop to get the staff that was given to him by the First Spinjitzu Master. The ninja and Sensei Wu escape on Destiny's Bounty and soon realize they are being followed by Morro, who uses Lloyd's elemental dragon. Wu reveals to the four Ninja that Morro was his first student. As the ninja escape on Destiny's Bounty, Morro boards the vessel and tries to get Sensei Wu's staff. Sensei Wu throws his staff off the Bounty and Morro goes to get it. Meanwhile, the Bounty crashes. The ninja then learn that the staff had a clue to where the First Spinjitzu Master's tomb is. The first clue was Airjitzu. The ninja decide to go to Stiix, a city in Ninjago to get the scroll from Ronin, who stole it. On the way there they are attacked by a ghost that Morro summoned, but the ninja defeat him. The ninja find out that water destroys them. Later Sensei Wu tells Nya she is the master of water, and our quest begins...

Characters: The Ninjas/Villains

Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon/Green Ninja/Golden Ninja (voiced by Jillian Michaels) – Lloyd is the son of Misako and Garmadon, the nephew of Sensei Wu, the grandson of the First Spinitzu Master and is both the Green Ninja with powers of Energy and Creation and the Golden Ninja of Legend. Lloyd was left at Darkley's Boarding School by his mother due to his father taking the path of evil, with Misako setting out to find a way of preventing the prophesied final battle between father and son. A mischievous boy, Lloyd was kicked out of Darkley's and tried to follow in his father's footsteps, only to foolishly release the Serpentine from their tombs. He was eventually taken in by his uncle, and was captured by the Serpentine while trying to find out their plans. Upon being rescued by his father and the Ninja, it was made known by Kai that he was the Green Ninja destined to face the Dark Lord in the final battle-leading everyone to believe that he was to fight his own father. The four senior Ninja took Lloyd under their wing, and his training and powers were enhanced when his age was accelerated by the act of saving the others from his father's Grundle monster. Lloyd became the master of the Ultra-Dragon, the fused form of the four elemental Dragons, and though he lacked a Golden Weapon possessed the power of all four elements. After unlocking the power of the Golden Dragon, a fighting style practiced by his paternal grandfather, the First Spinjitzu Master, Lloyd learned that his destiny was not to fight his father, but rather the evil Overlord previously faced by his predecessor.

Lloyd becomes the leader of the Ninja in season four and banishes his father to the Cursed Realm to release the deceased Anacondrai generals that can stop Chen and his army. In season five, Morro, who escaped the Cursed Realm, possesses Lloyd to steal Wu's staff. Lloyd is freed from Morro's possession in "Grave Danger" and reunites with his friends and family to stop Morro. Lloyd is the only Ninja not to have a regular weapon but has several vehicles like an Elemental Cycle, his grandfather's golden mech, and the Jungle Raider.

Kai Smith/Red Ninja (voiced by Vincent Tong) – Kai is the Red Ninja of Fire, whose late father was a friend of Sensei Wu and the previous Elemental Master of Fire. Hot (in three ways)-tempered and stubborn, he initially insulted Sensei Wu, but accepted his offer of training after his sister Nya was kidnapped by the Skullkins. He subsequently obtained the Sword of Fire and became the rider of the Fire Dragon Flame. Like the other Ninja, Kai believed that he would become the Green Ninja, but his drive to do so kept him from discovering his full potential until the other Ninja had already succeeded in doing so. Upon realizing that his training was meant to prepare him to protect the true Green Ninja, Lloyd, Kai unlocked his potential and joined the others in training Lloyd. Kai has wielded the Sword of Fire, the Fire elemental blade, the red Techno Blade and the Fire Aeroblade. Kai's ninja vehicles have included the Blade Cycle, the Fire Mech, the Fire Blade Fighter Jet, the X-1 Ninja Charger and the Fire Drifter Hovercycle. His Spinjitzu tornado is red, and he is capable of manifesting a Fire Dragon created from his elemental powers. He was one of the 16 elemental masters in Master Chen's tournament, where he met and developed feelings for Skylor. (same voice actor for Flash Sentry so...)

Jay Walker/Blue Ninja (voiced by Michael Adamthwaite) – Jay is the Blue Ninja of Lightning, the most lighthearted of the group and Nya's boyfriend for seasons 1 and 2. An inventor, Jay was found by Sensei Wu testing a pair of artificial wings and recruited to join the Ninja; he subsequently obtained the Nunchuks of Lightning and became the rider of the Lightning Dragon Wisp. For some time he was afraid to admit his true feelings to Nya, but upon doing so unlocked his true potential as a Ninja. Jay is somewhat embarrassed by his parents Ed and Edna, and avoided telling the other Ninja about them for some time. He, in season 3, became insanely jealous after learning that Nya might have feelings for Cole, though the two Ninja were later reconciled. A glimpse into his future indicated that he and Nya might still end up together. Jay has wielded the Nunchuks of Lightning, the elemental blade of lightning, the yellow Techno Blade, the Lightning Aeroblade and his Spinjitzu tornado is blue. Jay's ninja vehicles have included the Storm Glider Fighter Jet, the Thunder Raider, the Electro Mech, and his Jay Walker One ghost battling racecar. He is also one of the 16 elemental Masters who took part in Master Chen's tournament. And it is hinted that he may end up with Nya... but you know... dem writers love'em some Depravity.

Zane Julien/White Ninja/Titanium Ninja (voiced by Brent Miller) – Zane is the White Ninja and Titanium Ninja of Ice, and the smartest of the group. He is a nindroid, an artificial being created to be a ninja by Dr. Julien. When Dr. Julien fell ill, he turned off Zane's memory switch, leaving Zane with no memory of his father or being an artificial lifeform. He later found a village where he spent time with the villagers. One day Sensei Wu found him meditating at the bottom of a frozen lake and took him on as a student, leading to his obtaining the Shurikens of Ice and the Ice Dragon, whom he named Shard. The other Ninja found Zane hard to understand, as he often didn't comprehend their sense of humor or customs. However, they did appreciate his cooking ability, which curiously was an ability not programmed into him by his father. Once, Zane's peculiar character traits caused the ninja to grow infuriated with him. He left after they all scolded him for something that was not his fault. Despite his friends' cruel words, Zane was not offended, and they re-accepted him. Onwards Zane's relationship with the other ninja grew strong. After learning the truth about himself and regaining his memories, Zane unlocked his true potential. During the battle with the Overlord's Stone Army, Zane learned that his father had been revived by Samukai after finding him trapped on an island. After fighting against the Overlord and his forces for some time, Zane sacrificed himself to defeat the Overlord's Golden Master incarnation, and was dubbed the Titanium Ninja for his sacrifice. However, he managed to download himself into Cyrus Borg's computer network and built himself a new, more advanced body out of titanium. While he didn't take part in Chen's Tournament of Elements, he was the first master to lose his Elemental power to Master Chen and the second Elemental Master to harness the power of an Elemental Dragon (The first being Lloyd, who gained his powers during the showdown with the Overlord Dragon). During season 5 he joined his fellow ninja in battling the Ghost Warriors, though he suffered brief issues with his voice after it was damaged and Jay tried to repair it. Zane has wielded the Shurikens of Ice, the elemental Blade of ice, the blue Techno Blade and Ice Aeroblade. Zane's ninja vehicles have included the Ice Claw Snowmobile...

Nya Smith/Samurai X/Water Ninja (voiced by Kelly Metzger) – Nya is Kai's younger sister, whose kidnapping by Garmadon and the Skullkins leads Kai to become a Ninja. She also fights under by her alter ego "Samurai X," initially concealing her identity from the Ninja and their enemies. Jay develops a crush on her when they first meet, and throughout the first two seasons she reciprocates his feelings, and they later become official boyfriend and girlfriend. However, during the Digital Overlord/Golden Master arc, she starts questioning whether or not she may be more drawn to Cole because of a machine that claimed he was her perfect match. As of the Tournament of Elements arc she is still friends with both of them, but it is unclear whether she is still interested in either of them romantically. Though not initially a Ninja, Nya apparently has some skill in Spinjitzu; while briefly under the influence of dark matter, her technique produced a dark red tornado. She has the greatest assortment of weaponry, including various gadgets, a large battlesuit, and a weighted chain. Season Five revealed that, like Kai, Nya is descended from the Elemental Masters, from her mother who was the Elemental Master of Water, and thus possesses latent talent with that element. In battle she often pilots her Samurai X mech, and in season 4, created and drove the Ninja DBX mobile headquarters. In season 5 she sets out to master her elemental abilities, though suffers some initial frustration at her inability to control water at first.

Ronin (credited as Ronan) (voiced by Brian Dobson) - A mercenary and thief who initially appeared in Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin. In the game he is revealed to have captured Zane for Master Chen, and later attempted to free Chen from the Cursed Realm. Using a magical weapon known as the Obsidian Glaive, he erased and altered the memories of the Ninja and several of their allies and enemies in his efforts, but his plan was defeated and the glaive destroyed. In the fifth season he would return as an unlikely ally in the battle with Morro and his Ghost Army, though he would be pursued by both Morro and the Ninja after stealing the Scroll of Airjitzu. It was revealed that Ronin has incurred a great deal of debt throughout his life, most notably to Bow Master Soul Archer, and his criminal ventures and dirty deals are in an effort to get enough money to pay him back. Despite this self-serving attitude, he does have a heart, and was willing to face Morro's warriors to save Nya. He also helps Ronin start to unlock her elemental powers by helping her see that her overwhelming desire to command water is actually holding her back. Unfortunately, he then steals the Sword of Sanctuary in an effort to pay his debt to the Soul Archer, but refuses to help the Ghosts destroy the Ninja. Morro then possessed him in order to send the Ninja into a trap, but Ronin managed to send them help and the true coordinates of the First Spinjitzu Master's tomb. Ronin is a brown-haired man with some facial hair who appears to be missing his right eye, which has a mechanical lens in its place. He is proficient in the use of swords and guns, and in the game wore a suit of armor. He also pilots an aircraft known as the R.E.X., which he summons by whistling a distinctive tune.

Morro (voiced by Andrew Francis, Michael Dobson in the Corridor of Elders) – Morro is the Master of Wind and Sensei Wu's first and former student, whom Wu thought might be the destined Green Ninja. Unfortunately, the idea of this destiny filled him with arrogance, and he later turned down the path of darkness after learning that he wasn't destined for that role. For that reason, he went in search for the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master in the Caves of Despair, though was burned alive by a gas chamber within. His spirit, however, was cast into the Cursed Realm. When the Anacondrai Generals were freed from the Cursed Realm, Morro also escaped in the form of a ghost. He appears in the final seconds of "The Corridor of Elders" where he shouts 'Morro'. In season five, he possesses Lloyd's body in order to steal Wu's staff, and unleash the evil Ghost Warriors to turn things into ghosts and get revenge on Lloyd for having his place as the Green Ninja. He proceeds to summon the other warriors, steals the Scroll of Airjitzu and later the Sword of Sanctuary, and manages to obtain the Realm Crystal from the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master despite battling the ninja. On the latter occasion he stopped possessing Lloyd, having achieved his purposes in using Lloyd's body, and returned to the city of Stiix to prepare for the Preeminent's arrival. He and Lloyd later engaged in a running battle that carried them through the Sixteen Realms, including that of Legends of Chima, before he returned to Ninjago in time to witness the Preeminent's defeat. Though offered help by Wu, he chose to fall with his master, though he left Wu the Realm Crystal. Morro commands the elemental power of Wind, can apparently possess any person, object, or substance, has the ability to conjure weapons and an Elemental Dragon, and may possess Lloyd's Elemental abilities in addition to his own while possessing the true Green Ninja. Prior to taking control of Lloyd he stole the Allied Armor of Azure, which he used to summon his ghost minions, but it was later destroyed by Nya. So.. his master dragged him to his death, and when asked for help by Wu, althoguh he accepted.. it was too late, and he so called 'died'... :o

Animation & Sound: Regarding animation wise... WILFilm done a good job with lighting and texture this season... very detail, very crisp... but the ghosts were 'meh' as for the songs... well each end credit song had a good creepy stalker vibe to it (in a good way) and the show provides a meh sense of tension... but the animaton this season was top of the bag... better than last season... i didnt like last season's animation... meh, what can you do?

The Good
The Ghosts- The ghosts were meh, Soul Archer was the best out of all of them, but the rest is meh, but is was all good... Soul Archer was fitting to her ghost role. The other guys... they were just meh. Not bad just meh.

Ronan- His indifference made Nya's progress go faster so... yeah, also he isnt a jerk as I thought he would be so yeah.. but he went under a quick change of heart, which feels rush. But to be fair... we only got 10 episodes so what can you do?

Morro- I am in the middle for this new villain, for the most part, he was an interesting opponent for the Ninja to fight... his power over wind is also awesome and he is voice actor makes him sounds so cool!

The Bad
Morro- At the bulk of it he was explained like this "Here you go, take this info, and read it.." they were very up front,, yet he wasnt explained to a good extent, but... they did have 10 episodes.. but the last season they could have used Morro to segway into this season, but you win some you lose some.

The Big Bad- "I want bring back my Master on earth" meh... it was ok... just it took some time but I am indifferent to this villain.. he/she/it was bland somewhat

Cole = Ghost- It says it all... he was turned into a ghost against his own will, although he gets sweet powers, I feel like he is downgraded in his role.

Final Verdict: B
All in al, it was a good season, although not the best. Morro was a cool idea... despite his cliche turn of events... that lead them to his death and his death again... and it had the Ninjas lose thier powers again... another interesting challenge to see them over come. But the big bad reveal was meh at best, all in all B

I've failed to see this review previously. My apologies, especially for such a detailed review to indicate your passion for it. It seems like it's a decent to rather good lego show, which is expected considering how Legos is with the quality of their products :P

Thanks Wolves! I was indifferent to Morro though. Has alot of potential other than being just another threat, also this review took 2 hours to write up
