The Japanese word for today is!.. *Drum roll*
日の入り、（ひのいり）、Hinoiri
いみ（meaning）：Sunset
...Like you didn't see that one coming! xD
れいぶん（example sentence）：サンセット・シマー、日の入りはあなたのように美しいです。
sanusetto shimaa, hinoiri wa anata no you ni utsukushi desu.
ほんやく（translation）：Sunset Shimmer, the sunset is as beautiful as you.
That's for all those Sunset Shimmer fans out there! 
Minus Sunset Shimmer, try this sappy line on someone at your own risk.
