Hey guys! How are all of you today? I hope you're well.

Ugh okay so I have to write a personal essay to a college for my English class and let me tell you this sucks!! I have I idea what to write about and where to begin. It's due on Sunday and has to be a minimum of one thousand words. Ugh. I have no idea how I'll even survive college.... Any advice or help to offer?

I strongly suggest you write something that you are comfortable and familiar with. Such as your life experiences and your hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Those should come naturally to you. :)

But how do I start it?, like the introductory paragraph? And thanks for the advice, it's greatly appreciated!

lol it gets significantly worse (I have a 10pg research paper due next week). The best introductory paragraphs start broad and then narrow their focus. So, my suggestion is that you start by describing a event that had significant impact on your life and then narrow down how it shaped you personally. Then go from there.

Yes, just like what lynndx suggested. :) All the best with it.

For essay structure you want to follow something like this https://emedia.rmit.edu.au/learninglab/sites/default/files/essay_structure_1.png

Since you're not writing a persuasive essay of sorts then you'd want to replace your "argument" with a theme or something along those lines.

As for what to write about, it's easiest to write about something that had an impact on your life like Lynndx said.
