As I sit here listening to more pony music, I began to realize something. In 'Best Cute Pony Pictures' and 'Post All Your Funny pony Pictures', I often use my amazing writing skills to caption images with the scene it paints in my mind. I then thought to myself how uneventful this blog of mine would become, when I can barely think of entry ideas to ramble on about most of the time. So, I decided to use the fact that DeviantART is one of my main websites I visit daily, and my captioning habit, to create this new blog series I plan on doing from now on.

In addition to my rambling I will continue to due like basic blogs, I will now periodically post art of amazing, funny or cute ponies from DeviantART *in spoilers, cause Imma nice guy*. I will then caption the art with my personal thoughts *which can be anywhere from a sentence to multiple sentences*, link back to the artist's original art page, and also give my brief thoughts on the art piece. And of course, all you peeps are more than welcome to comment with your thoughts on favorites, thoughts on quotations, what have you.

These entries will have their own specific Entry Category called 'Art Showcasing', so that people can choose to look at only them, and not everything, ramblings and all.

Speaking of ramblings, I'll shut up and get on with the very first entry, now.

Regal and magnificent, the soft-appearance of the Monarch of the Sun was eternal. Over two-thousand years old, and still possessive of a face more beautiful than the heavens themselves, Princess Celestia raises and lowers the majestic sun with a reflective smile upon her face, each and every day.

I stumbled upon this piece earlier yesterday and I was blown away. This is one of the most beautiful paintings of Celestia I have ever seen, and I just can't stop looking at it. The warmth and tranquility that comes off of her figure, the colors, and her expression truly captures the essence of her character, and I'm really glad to have found this piece.

Running of the Leaves by LeviosaRose

The pounding of hooves against the ground was deafening. This, matched with the flurry of brightly colored leaves dancing around her face made it so Rainbow Dash could barely keep her focus on the orange farm pony just out of her reach. She just had to catch her-no, she had to beat her. There was no way the cowgirl was gonna beat her out. She was the true Iron Pony!

'Vibrant' and 'Dem eyes' are the first two thoughts to me when I look at this piece. I love the kinetic energy in this piece, which is made possible through the excellent poses, colors, and the leaf positions. I also think the expressions are dead-on, as AJ smirks triumphantly at getting ahead of the cranky and hot-headed Dash just behind her.

The Timberwolf Chase-Journey of the Spark Concept by Ellebethe

Her erratic panting had grown to the point of a lowly whine. The unicorn's feet burned with fatigue, and only got worse with each and every step. Through the trees, out into the dimly lit stream, and to the other side. It didn't matter how fast she went; the glowing eyes of the Timberwolves snaked after her silently wherever she went.

Desperation, the primary goal of this piece was captured perfectly in not only Twilight's face, but the impending doom coming from the pursuing Timberwolves. The farthest to the right, the one slinking down the slope while staring after the pony is truly where the real sense of desperation comes from. I've always loved the Timberwolves, and I hope we get to see or hear more about them in future episodes. I enjoy seeing beautiful art of them.

The vastness I get from this peace is very stunning. There's a lot of depth given into the endless field of clouds, and seeing Rainbow and Scoots sitting down in the lower right with the sun and stars all converging with each other in the distance is all beautiful. I still want to see Dash and Scoots develop a surrogate sister relationship, or at the very least, see Dash teach Scoots how to fly. Oh well, one can hope.

I fear that I'm pressed for time writing this to you. Discord has returned, and he's completely taken over Ponyville once again! I have no idea where the Elements are, and I don't think my friends and I can take much more of this. Please, Princess, help...

Last piece of the day? Who else but Discord? I love a lot of things about this peace. Discord's expression, and the crossed out eye to give him an eerie puppet-like appearance is very creepy. His posture, and the way his legs were drawn were very menacing. Lastly, his gigantic wings are make him seem a lot bigger than he actually is, similar to a peacock fluffing it's tail feathers, and I like that.
