I believe I can fly!

いみ(meaning):belief, faith, conviction (noun, verb, no-adjective)

れいぶん(example sentence):私たちの信念は別だけど、大丈夫です。watashitachi no shinnen wa betsu da kedo, daijoubu desu.

ほんやく(translation):Our beliefs are different, but it's okay.

Nice ^^
One question. When we in english (or in other germanic languages) use the opposite word, we often put a un-, non or dis- in front of the word (such as disharmony or unbelief). What does a japanese person say in such a case?

Great question!

Japanese does have a prefix for un-, dis-, non-, and that would be the kanji 不 (fu). For example, 統一(touitsu)means unity and consolidation --  不統一(futouitsu)means, as you would expect, disunity or disharmony. Of course, there are words, as in English, that convey the same meaning as words with the prefix (ex. chaos and disharmony). Hope this helps! ^-^
