You're figuring yourself out. At the time you believed you were transgender, so that means that during that time you were transgender. People change, it's a fact of life. The fact that you don't believe yourself to be transgender now, doesn't mean that you were wrong before, just that it no longer applies to you. (I suggest reading up on "gender fluid" as well as other possible categories. You may find something that applies to you that you never considered.)
