hmmm i don't believe it is scripted the radio in New Vegas (well the radio newvegas channel) is buggy at times (but its an Obsidian game so yeah).

It could be a bug, I don't really know.

I'll have to look into this some more.

I got tired of the same three or four songs playing endlessly so I installed a few radio station mods and added some music of my own. Now I rarely hear the stock music.
