When I first played Smash Bros Melee in college, I absolutely loved this one, and I'm not sure why; it's so dark, but I never found it depressing.

And---on organ, it's even better!  I don't think the organ was one of the instruments they had in Melee for this piece, but wen you play it on this---it's perfect!

The dark tone of the song fits really well with the celestial vibe of the organ, I find.

I wasn't very familiar with the song at first since I didn't remember it too much, though it's become one of my most recent favourites so far.
