Crazy times, huh? Still, it's sad to see them go though. 

We’ve lost a lot of famous names in 2020 and these two are near the top of the list.  Even though Kobe Bryant played for the Lakers, he was a Philadelphia native and the local news paid extra close attention to him throughout his NBA career.  There’s a lot of Lakers fans in Philly, partly because the Sixers sucked that whole time and partly because Kobe played for them.  A spontaneous memorial for him, his daughter, and other crash victims went up at his Alma mater, Lower Merion High School, when they died.  And of course, what can I say about Chadwick?  Only those closest to him knew he was fighting cancer while he was acting in the MCU movies.  I also think about Alex Trebek who initially second guessed disclosing his cancer diagnosis.  But as time went on he embraced it because he understood how many others were going through the same thing.  

With how much death we had in 2020, celebrities are nothing special in my eyes.
