blog-0212464001358882106.pngI run a small, companion bird rescue. I hope to maybe inspire others to saddle up and help innocent creatures in need. I'm here to take questions, post stories about what I've done and hope to do in my mission to help birdies in need.

Aww that is so sweet :3! I love birds they are just awesome and all the different varieties of birds that are out there.

One time as we were driving down our neighborhood a while back. I saw a small parakeet lying in the middle of the road?? Yeah pretty random I'd say... But we picked it up and took it home too nurse it back to health.

Have a african grey parrot that I have had since I was really little :). But that is really awesome that you do that.

That's awesome!

Here are some questions I have:

-How did you get started doing this?

-What kind of things to do you exactly to help them?

-Why did you decide to do this?

That makes me so happy to hear you helped a needy 'keet.

The record for most words learned was actually a Budgie! You would think it's a African Grey like the famous Alex. (RIP)

I actually met Irene Pepperberg. She signed my birdy-chewed book of "Alex and Me".

Disco the budgie on youtube is another example of how cool they can be. They are small, but they have big personalities if one takes the time to bond with them.

A.G.s can be mischievous, but again, super smart.

If you would like to see my flock, here's my off-site page. It has pictures/videos and some info about them. :)

It's a long story, I'll do a new blog post to answer these questions by tonight if you don't mind.
