Ever wonder what Angel ponies are like in the canon? Or if they even exist? We may never know, but here's my interpretation of what Angel Ponies are like. 

What do Angel Ponies look like?

Angel ponies often have a very translucent look to them, but that's only in the Starlands, when sent to earth, they take on more of a physical appearance, often they have short pixie cut like manestyles or long wavy ones, and always, ALWAYS have a halo. 

Angel Pony lore

The species hails from the Starlands and are often assigned as guardian angels, and are given a certain pony to guide, until that pony no longer requires guardianship, those that have a particularly specific destiny are assigned an angel, as are those in absolute need. 

Angel status can only be attained by the soul of a pegasus that passed but was still needed by those they knew. 

Their cutie marks are replaced by marks of clouds or candles, sometimes a heart with wings or a cross.
