I'm going to try not to sounds like a negative bastard, but here is my opinions.

1: The only reason its connected to MLP is because they know it will make a ton of money because of all the bronies. This could have been anything.

2: The character design is bad (Judging from the "leaked" photo"

Their legs are awful and their faces are all the same with a different colour. Not to mention, it lookslike they just had a bee swarm on em.

3:Will give another reason to hate bronies and the show. If people starts to watch this on a regular basis the so called "trolls" will have even more legit reasons to "hate" on you bronies. 

4: Do they really need to have their signature colour as their skin colour?

It looks quite retarded if i have to say so myself.

5: All the annoying fan art and fanfics.

I can hardly stand the little humanized ponies art as of now, i don't want to imagine myself a week after this has been released.

Also, Hasbro already has relations with Asia.
