I think I'm getting too attached to Dashie again...

Okay so I should provide a bit of a background so you guys understand this blog entry a bit better.

 

A long time ago, somewhere in the first half of 2012, I was really like in love with Rainbow Dash. It got to the point where I got a bit too emotionally attached to her. There was this guy on the forums who made a thread about how he married Dashie and they were having a baby or something, and I got so mad that I posted on there screaming at him like "YOU SON OF A BITCH GET AWAY FROM DASHIE, SHE'S MINE" or something like that. So obviously I completely overreacted and got way more angry than I should have. I mean Rainbow Dash is just a fictional cartoon character after all.

 

So anyway, I ended up leaving the forums somewhere around the beginning of July due to losing interest in MLP after season 2 ended, and I completely forgot about Dashie and didn't even think about her or MLP anymore. However, when season 3 was about to start, my interest in the show came back, and so I became an active member on the forums again. Naturally, my love for Dashie gradually returned to me.

 

However, here's the problem. I think I might be getting back to that point where I'm a bit too emotionally attached to Dashie. At first, I didn't even care if someone said Dashie was their waifu or they were marrying Dashie or whatever, but now it's starting to get me kind of mad again whenever I see someone post something like that. I never thought I would act that way again. I told myself when I rejoined the forums that I would not be that way anymore, but I'm starting to let my feelings for Dashie get the better of me. I know it's stupid to get so defensive over a cartoon character, but I just can't help it. :/

I don't get mad if anyone calls AJ their waifu, and I love her to bits. Like, serious love right here. I truly do have feelings for her, and even if it's unhealthy/weird, I don't give a fuck. I'll find a girl somewhat similar to her one day. That being said, I'm surprised I don't flip out or get really THAT irritated if someone says their waifu is AJ. I dunno why........

 

That doesn't mean I stay calm about everything related to her, though. Just look at how I exploded when she was losing to a BG in that Attractiveness Competition (I still think the results of the whole thing was a load of moldy baloney).

This is when you.. go outside, take a deep breath.. and than go get laid for real. Yeah, Rainbow Dash is awesome, but i doubt any woman would dye her hair rainbow for you.. well if you dont go out and find one :P

I mean even for me I always like saying it'd be cool to hangout a day with Pinkie Pie you know. Or even meeting someone who is similar to her being very kind and uplifting, I would love to have friend/friendship like that. But at the same time you always have to separate cartoon from reality unfortunately. But it is nice to enjoy something and have a character that is your favorite.

I once thought about suicide, just so I could have that minute chance I might get to be with Rainbow. I know what you're feeling. (I was suicidal at the time as well, and saw it as a possible way.)

Of course now I'm over that aspect of it, and try not to let myself get too attached to Rainbow again.

I don't think a human girl with rainbow hair would be attractive to me XD

How could committing suicide make you be with Rainbow? No offense, that just doesn't make any sense.

I kept thinking I would wake up in Equestria. I wasn't that smart back then. :/ plus I had been reading so many HiE's at the time, so my mind wasn't really 'there'.

I agree with you

 

It would be cool to be friends or be in love with Twilight or FlutterShy or someone who is just like them!

 

I kinda was a little attached to Flutter and Twi!

i am actually obsessed with Dashie so yh highly understandable and i am do obsessed that i draw her cutie mark on my wrist all the time and also have dreams of having kids with her cos shes so ADORABLE
