the time is July 4th 1944, it seemed only yesterday that you disembarked from your landing craft and marched up the beach, past the ruins of the german fortifications it was calm that day.

But today that seems lifetimes away as the wall above you explodes, rubble and dirt rain down on you, you get up and cling closer to the wall, peeking around and firing your rifle wildly, not taking aim, just firing to make yourself feel better.

The ground begins to shake, and you wonder if it is an earthquake, and when you peek around again, your frozen in fear, just the name is enough to make any man freeze and shiver, The Tiger, a armored beast that is more deadly then a company of infantry.

you swallow and hide behind the wall again, as it moves closer and fires, the screams of men can be heard, but their distant to you, you grip your rifle, this was life or death, was it possible you could die today?
