Dear journal,

Today was pretty interesting. It started off like any normal day: get up, go through my morning routine, and prepare for work. Right now I'm in Ponyville, performing for the locals.

After a long day of performing for the school kids, making paper bag puppets with the kids, and trying to keep three fillies who called themselves, 'The Cutie Mark Crusaders,' I started a late evening performance about how the Everfree forest became evil for the adults. It was a creepy tale about two mares being corrupted by an evil magic, which later corrupted the Everfree forest.

The story started to scare folks, just like I intended. They were loving it, until a a stallion comes running from the Everfree wood line, covered in dirt and blood, screaming like a madmare; scaring most of us and nearly killing a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tale. Nopony moved. We tried to look for him but we couldn't find him. And of course, my performance was practically over. Everypony needed to calm down after that. So we all went to bed.
