blog-0104604001367350424.pnghello! for all of those who didn't read the title, or see the picture, this is a blog about Jupiter, which, IMO, is the greatest gassiest giants of them all!

a brief explanation, taken from Wikipedia:

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet in the Solar System.[13] It is a gas giant with mass one-thousandth that of the Sun but is two and a half times the mass of all the other planets in the Solar System combined. Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Together, these four planets are sometimes referred to as the Jovian or outer planets. The planet was known by astronomers of ancient times,[14] and was associated with the mythology and religious beliefs of many cultures. The Romans named the planet after the Roman god Jupiter.[15] When viewed from Earth, Jupiter can reach an apparent magnitude of −2.94, making it on average the third-brightest object in the night sky after the Moon and Venus. (Mars can briefly match Jupiter's brightness at certain points in its orbit.)

doesn't that just sound exciting to you?!! i've sighted Jupiter several times in the past! i have a giant affinity for Jupiter in general, in case you didn't know, but not as great as my boyfriend, Feather Spiral, has! sometimes he seems to worship it almost daily! wow! can you believe that?!

so next time you're feeling low, just look up into the sky and aim for the gassiest planets of them all, Jupiter! the stars in the sky are far too fucking far away to reach anyway!

ps in case you couldn't tell it's a joke.

Jupiter has got nothing on Uranus.

Jupiter is far grander, gassier, and saves our asses from being desolated by space shit. you should give Jupiter a pat on the butto- err, i mean... atmosphere?
