Democratic Fascism: Mixed Idealisms

Technicolour Dream (Sunny)

Fascism does not require a dictator to rule an entire empire. In the case of a Fascist Democracy, a constitutional government (I prefer a parliament) is founded upon Fascist ideology and Fascist practices.

For example: In order for a successful Fascist Democracy to be orderly and unified, a constitution with unalienable rights that allows the infringement of amendments and laws under acceptable circumstances so that the state can remain safe, secure, and orderly.

Some examples of why this may be beneficial:

  1. "All citizens have the right to bear arms." Instead, all citizens have the right to apply for the right to bear arms. Citizens must pass IQ tests, have background checks, and psychiatric evaluations upon application for licenses allowing the citizen to own a firearm. By doing this, street crime may possibly decrease. If by any chance this backfires, strict gun control (For example: like the U.K.) is to be enforced.
  2. Freedom of speech. Yes, while this is both a luxury and one of the most important rights, in some cases, restriction to the press and taking caution upon certain phrases of speech may save a life or two, as well as ensure civil tranquility. For example: Restriction of press in the case of criminal activity: A criminal is on the loose. Rig the news so that the criminal appears to be apprehended. By doing so, nobody is disturbed by an alleged criminal lurking the streets. While this may have a few down sides, in an organized and orderly society, police and task forces trained specifically to keep criminal activity to a minimal are to be active and ready at all times to ensure and keep the peace of the community. Cautious behaviors regarding speech: In modern societies, a man cannot be sent to have a mental evaluation for saying things such as "I plan to kill *insert name*". But if proper caution is taken, and the incident reported to the proper authorities, proper preventive action in a humane and just manner can be taken. One is not to immediately be sent to an asylum, of course not. But a state appointed meeting/intervention with experts can't possibly hurt right?

Now, onto our next topic.

An orderly and secure Democratic Fascist state should express a balanced "Garbage in, Garbage out" view, as well as base certain policies regarding equality and income upon this view. If one man refuses to pull his own weight, he does not harm the state. However, the state will recognize his output of "garbage" and will return this "garbage". In other words: If you do not work, you do not get paid. Act like scum, you will be treated like scum. Work for success, become successful. Go to war, return a hero, not a monster. (That always bugged me about the American populace. Men fight and die in foreign countries to secure Life, Liberty, and Order so that you can live a normal and prosperous life, but when they return, you treat them like monsters and thieves.)

Some of the benefits of the "Garbage in, Garbage out" system include:

  • Workers receive pay for their work and receive a fair (if not generous) wage for their hard work, while those who do not work do not receive a wage or compensation from the state that they do not deserve. (Disability will still be offered, but the rules of application will be far more strict for the purpose of utilizing unemployment compensations correctly to those who actually need it.)
  • Everyone will have the ability to be successful. All men are born equal, but will be treated in regards to their output and support for the state. This creates a more unified and orderly state. This way, one cannot be successful if they do not seek to give benefit to the state as compensation for their success.

Last topic for now:

A common view of the state should be that all men are created equal, but are not equal among the ranks of the state. Everyone has the ability and right to be successful. However, not everyone is successful. The US is already like this, but with refinement, this can become a great motivator for the citizens of the state to do good for the state so that the state can do good for them. Success is entirely based upon individual decisions of the citizens of the state. Since you alone decide whether or not you will work and bring prosperity to the state, it is you alone who determines your level of equality and rank among the citizens of the state.

The problem with #2 is its potential to be abused. The reason, in America, that press and people are given almost no limits to what they can say is because someone, somewhere, will find a way to silence their enemies through loopholes otherwise.

I'm also confused on this "fascist democracy". How does the political rule work? Is there still a "Dictator" of sorts?

no dictator. It is simply a constitutional democracy or parliament founded upon Fascist ideology.

I thought one of the main points of fascism was that the government has the power over the people. (The government decides if a person should be put to death, etc.)

Though, I guess that's the point of Democratic Fascism :P

while the point of back ground checks for firearms is a nice idea, im not a big fan of too much gun control, i guess chalk it up to the fact that i like guns and hope to be a collector of all sorts of fire arms some day,

i do not agree with how ever lying to the public, if a criminal is still on the loose they need to know for their own saftey, that also builds mistrust twords the government

however i do throughly agree with the garbage in garbage out thing

i also like your last point a little
