Is Equestria Girls being in theaters really a good idea?

So since I found out that Equestria Girls in going to be in theaters instead of being a TV movie, I started thinking that I really wish it wasn't in theaters. Won't it be kind of creepy when a bunch of grown men start going in a movie theater filled with little girls to see this movie? I mean a lot of people already think bronies are all pedophiles, and this isn't exactly going to help. I just can't imagine bronies being seen in a positive light when a bunch of weird creepy grown men start going to a theater filled with little girls to watch a movie that is clearly aimed at little girls. Maybe it's not such a big deal, but I don't know. I would have rather just had the movie be on TV and then all the bronies could just watch it in private at home. We don't really need more negative publicity than we already have.

It isn't a good move for bronies, since some will come off as creeps, but for Hasbro it is. They're making money off the theaters, then again off the DVDs. Amazing business move, but terrible for bronies.

I get what you're saying. Yeah, we will probably look like creeps to others walking into the theater, but that's something we've always had to deal with. It's nothing we can't shake off. On the bright side, it's a great opportunity for bronies to get together and meet one another. That's what I'm excited for if I end up going.

Well, you have to pay the expensive fee to go watch it, but for those who don't want to watch it, it won't be flooding the Hub channel. Yes you could say it would be better at home for privacy, but I say grow some balls and go watch it. On a personal level I could care less about EqG, so instead of making a fuss I'm just not going to watch it :3
