I'm not a gamer myself.

I don't play video games. I just don't.

Don't ask me why, because I don't have an answer for you. I just don't see the appeal for some reason.

In the past few weeks I've derived a shit ton of entertainment from the countless gamers, openly professing their comically overblown, white, hot, and vitriolic acrimony towards MS over on YouTube, and other social media sites, and discussion forums.

Many of them even go as far, as to predict Xbox one to be the failure that will actually destroy Microsoft.

Alright. Time to get real, people:

 

Don't be fucking ridiculous!

One gaming console is most certainly *NOT* going to sink one of the biggest MEGA-MOTHERFUCKING-CORPORATIONS in the entire frigging world.

The most ironic thing about this whole farce is the fact that, despite ALL your prejudice, and hatred, you KNOW you are going to buy that console.

You know it, and you know what? Microsoft knows it as well.

You're going to buy it, eat all that shit up, and I will be there, laughing.

Sooo.....you are going to defend a console that REQUIRES an internet connection and will actually deny you the right to play a game that you PAYED FOR just because your internet fucks up for a days? You are going to defend a console that REQUIRES Kinect to function and they can spy on you through this same camera? You are going to defend a console that is basically a cable box that plays games? 

 

Say what you will, but this is a HORRIBLE gaming console and I am damn certain that I will never buy this piece of shit. The amount of anti-consumer garbage that is littered all over this thing is horrendous.

Kinda makes your view on it pretty pointless then. You are not a gamer, hence why you would not see how this system could potentially have a hugely negative impact on the industry.

Makes my view pointless? Maybe, but then again, that's YOUR opinion.

I'm a guy who's observing this situation from an outsider's viewpoint, that much is true.

However, should that prohibit me from expressing my views on the matter? Should I just pipe down simply because I'm not a gamer?

Hell no! Just let me have my fun, goddammit! ;)
