Original predictions in my last blog post, now copy/pasted to this spoiler for convenience:

 

 

One will be a few ticks short of your typical douchebag, referring to people as "bro", talking about sports and cars all the time, listening to stupid music, and just generally being annoying. He may or may not have a "bro code" that would prevent him from eating my food without permission, but I doubt it.

 

One will probably be somewhat nerdy, though I doubt as nerdy as I am. He may or may not be super religious.

 

The last will be as close to a normal guy as is possible (since defining normality is difficult at best, and I'm not feeling particularly philosophical at the moment). He will be pretty nice and will be less likely to eat my food without permission than the other two.

 

I also predict that at least two of them will have heard of bronies, but none of them will be bronies. One will be a hater, the other two, neutral.

 

One will be super religious (which might cause some tension between us), the other two will be average (BYUI is a church school, remember.)

 

 

 

 

I was almost completely right. The douchebag isn't as doughey as I thought he'd be, which is good. He also doesn't seem to want to eat anybody elses food, but that may be because he brought like twice as much food as anybody else, and has a meal plan so he eats in the cafeteria. He shares Mountain Dew, which is pretty cool.

 

There is a nerd, but not as nerdy as I am. He likes Star Wars and Pokemon, and we talked about both at great length. Also, he's suepr religious, and also really conservative. Like, hardcore conservative. Now I'm pretty conservative myself, but this guy has me thinking "woah, okay, this guy is weird and doesn't understand how shit works."

 

Last one is pretty normal, and a nice guy. We don;t have much in common, but he's pretty cool. He's in the same room as me, and is a really heavy sleeper, which means I can get up whenever I want and he doesn't give a fuck (which is awesome because I'm the only morning person in the apartment).

 

As for bronyness, none are bronies, but they all have heard of bronies. The normal guy didn't say anything, but I can tell he thinks I'm really weird because of it. The almost douche doesn't seem to care, and also recognized my shirt as having Rarity on it. Possible brony? I doubt it, but he probably knows people who are or something. Nerdy guy is neutral.

 

I was also right about one really religious guy and two average.

That's what I'm saying, he's not very douchey at all. I mean, he talks about sports and girls all the time, and kicks a soccer ball around the dorm and plays football really loudly in the courtyard at night, but other than that, he's a pretty cool guy.

Well, a big pro is that I don't have parents wanting to know where I am and what I'm doing all the time, so I can actually do stuff.

The big con is that the stuff I can do is now quite restricted... unless I go off campus, of course.
