How can we eat animals?
 

Since we haven't seen any normal animal i guess this is their source of meat.

The same way people eat real meat and real fish. Pokemon are the equivalent to animals of that world, and over there it wouldn't seem as strange to be consuming them as livestock. It's not that surprising at all. They have to eat as well, but I'm sure they don't do it without treating them with respect early on. They're all part of the food web, after all.

Well, there are real animals in pokemon, they are even compares to real animals. Though, Pokemon I imagine, are just animals to.

We would be honestly dead (in the game) Believe it or not, pokemon can be very cruel even to each other.
