Well I made a recommendation on TF2 on steam and here are my thoughts on it:

Well after 2 months of playing it, I got a bit bored with it, sure the game visually looks excellent, but there are many problems beyond that.

My first of many gripes about this game is the community, I am an F2P, however, I tend to learn from the P2P veterans of the game, because I despise the F2P stereotype. I despise the F2Ps for one reason, incredibly large amounts of immaturity, many are among the most immature I have ever met, I swear most have come from CoD or other FPS games that attract swarms of little kids like insects swarming around a honey pool. I also despise the people from fandoms acting like religious missionaries, preaching their gospel about why their fandom is awesome, as an active member of the MLP fandom, I despise the Bronies that have to preach that they're awesome for liking a cartoon. It doesn't matter the fandom, I despise it when fandoms try to get you in a game. My next biggest facepalm moment is when that idiotic dumbfuck who has been playing the game for 5 years (or so he claims), tells you to quit using a certain weapon because HE DOESN'T FUCKING LIKE IT! It doesn't matter what it is, even stock weapons piss some people off!

My next gripe is the gameplay at times is incredibly unbalanced. I give a bravo for Valve with the classes, keeping it fair and balanced at times. Then why am I complaining about unbalanced gameplay? Because many servers have way too many of one class, be it a scout or spy, it seems those are the only desirable classes on servers. It gets boring when you're a demoman on a team with 5 scouts, 4 spies, and 2 snipers. Plus even if your team is doing great and you're about ready to win, the autobalance system kicks in. Plus many server admins and mods are among the most immature, rude, and obnoxious I have ever come across.

My 3rd gripe is servers and maps. My favorite gamemode is CTF, and honestly, all the CTF servers it seems nowadays are just 24/7 2fort or 24/7 turbine servers, I have not come across a decent CTF server that actually has a rotation. To top it all off none of the players actually have an interest in playing the game, instead they treat it more like team deathmatch, it gets boring, and then when people play the game the way it should, they go engineer and plant sentries in YOUR base in order to win because their team is full of dumbfuck noobs who only care about getting those incredibly retarded as fuck hats.

Oh that's my next gripe is the hats, sure some of them are awesome, however I see no fucking point in wasting large amounts of time just to get one thing to decorate you player with. Or spend thousands of dollars to get an unusual, I see no point in it, as for weapons, some are nice, some are awful, some aren't worth all the piss in the world.

My final, my absolutely final gripe about TF2 is the trading system, sure I want to clear stuff out of my inventory, however when one person trades with you, they either rip you off, or pussy out at the last second because they don't want to give their pwecious items up for twade. And when they rip you off, such as giving you copies of ARMA 3 alpha lite and saying that it works fine when the game just got into beta and the alpha is expired is asinine.

Other than that, my final verdict, while TF2 looks great, plays great at times, and can be a big load of fun, it really isn't worth the download if you're ready to be bullied by dumbass elitists, be pestered by little F2P 10 year olds, have some of the biggest assholes in the world tell you you're useless for not being in their fandom, have douchebags tell you to kill yourself for using their least favorite weapon, or deal with the worst admins in gaming, then don't download this game, I repeat don't download this game! If you do by chance decide to download it, almost immediately, mute everybody on the server, ignore the chat, and enjoy playing the game, and play it right, don't try to treat it like CoD, and also if you do want to trade with people, you still have to buy something from the stupid Mann Co. store.
