Today started slowly, the supply truck delivering food as well as this delicious brown drink the scientists called "coffee" was late....again, gears and bubbly said it happened all the time.

i cant imagine why...

when i got my flank out of bed, i looked over at my desk, it was full of papers and books, and everything i could possibly read about rockets, space, and anything in between, but sitting atop the books was a large blueprint with lines drawn on the white grid.

Today was the day i test my first rocket, with no ponies inside, beacuse well, i cant get ponies killed, would be bad on my consence and bad for the Equestrian Areonautics and Space Administration. (formerly the ESP)

in any case, i walked inside the VAB with more than a skip to my step, i was scared, nervous and excited at the same time,

"ahh, your highness, glad you arrived." bubbly approached,

"here she is, the Twilight 1."

i blinked, the simple rocket that would take a simple remote guidance unit, to the edge of space and back...it was beautiful, at least in my eyes,

"a bit of a crude design." bubbly smiled, "but we streamlined it, and it should give us valuble information, and after it returns to earth, and we know it works, then the real fun can begin."
