Sonic Lost World: The Badniks
I'm super hyped for Sonic Lost World. I've mentioned it on several topics on the forums in the past weeks. However, let me briefly touch upon one thing that bothers me a little bit about this title; the badniks.
In this game, we're going back to the original formula for Eggman's robots; He captures little woodland creatures and stuffs them inside robots that he calls "badniks." These include the Motobug and the Buzz Bomber. As Sonic runs through whatever stage he's in, he can jump or homing attack (I'm pretty sure) onto the badniks to free the animals.
Now, I'm totally okay with SEGA going back to the original Genesis days and having Eggman's badniks look like this. But, in this game, the badniks look a little too toyish for my tastes. It's not like it's distracting or anything. It's just that Sonic Generations had the badniks look up-to-date, but they still looked like the originals from the Genesis days.
So, what happened here?
