Improve your life then. Complaining about life on the internet is basically wasting time until the next package arrives, according to your logic no?

If you want to do something, then do something, that is all.

That's where the problem comes in. The internet is my life, so it's basically all I do. I'm not active (save for in the winter), my "friends" don't usually want to hang out, and I can't come up with anything else to do.

It's not pathetic. If that's pathetic, i'm pathetic. And my confidence (and my mum, who never lies) says I'm not pathetic. I mean, I spend all my spare time on the computer. Quite literally. No time I spend away from my computer, voluntarily.

Either way, you're probably not pathetic. It's probably you just being 15. And I feel that being 16, I'm allowed to give advice condescendingly. It just seems right. (take this part sarcastically. I'm not so good with sarcasm).

You're not pathetic, you're a nerd. There's a pretty significant difference. You just need to direct yourself; if you put your online effort into something that someone gets enjoyment out of, bam, time magically not wasted. Start small; admin a facebook page or something, then take on progressively bigger projects. Work your way up to, I dunno, starting websites or something. (Course, to do that you'll need to learn to program.)
