I Have An Unique Motivation Problem.

I'm having kind of a problem where I have a lack of motivation to do anything because I keep staring at the distant future and it results in a very nihilistic feeling where everything I try to create or enjoy seems pointless because I all I can think about is when anything I do now will eventually be a distant memory.

I hate it. I want it to go away and I want to just worry about what's happening right now(or just over the course the current year at least)

Along with other quirks, that thought was at the core of my apathy. Everything appears empty when the end result determines value. We overlook the importance of everyday occurrences and the people around us; and without recognizing that, there's no light to be found.

I looked at the world through neutral eyes and found every answer I wanted, yet there was nothing after that. I gave myself a new aim time and time again, but my focus always wavered. Only after finding something worthwhile in daily life, did I really move forward from that point.

It's common for people to work towards a goal, but true strength doesn't rely on a distant dream; rather, that dream draws strength from your present passion. Finding that alone is a challenge of it's own, but keep an open heart and look at things for what they are. The more you experience, the better you know yourself, and what you want from life.
