This might seem old but i'v recently goteen used to the features Google+ brings to youtube. Now granted I wont ever use the actual G+ site to socilize but I do find comment section a lot more interesting.

 

For one comment chains are now mini threads in a way, which is nice when you have a related topic in that "thread" plus the notifications notifies you when a comment has be upvoted which I like as well.

 

Overall I think i was just pissed at the whole being forced to use G+ in the first place but overall I like the features ti gave to youtube overall.

i linked a G+ account to my youtube, it only puts a real name i cant change that so i made it Skull Buster, so then i went to a video to comment, clicking where it says "share your thoughts" i clicked it, a window flashed up for half a second then went away and nothing happened

 

before then when i tried to comment it would bring me to a screen asking if i wanted to link to G+ or keep your youtube name, so i opted to keep my youtube name, it then brings me to a screen called "other options for editing your channel" the whole window was empty so my only option was to exit out, then a banner at the top said "ok we will ask again later"

 

after my experiment with G+ i disconnected my profile from my youtube profile
