What am I doing?: writing an entry

Thoughts Today:

Another day goes by, and yet another day filled with inspiration! So as everyone most likely knows, and if you don't you will now. EverFreeNorthWest is having a pre-con contest in writing for this years theme: Villains,Rivals....Friends?. So when I saw that I was like "Wow, I should enter this... oh yeah I have bad issues here don't I? Well why not try and see if I nail it?!"

So I just need to decide (and soon) what I am going to write it on. I will be happy enough for an honorable mention or just even the chance to be put into the contest, I personally wouldn't care if I won or not. It would be a totem pole in the road to recovery for me.

On a secondary note: I really feel like I can be more confident in knowing that there are contests like these, because it gives me hope for everyone who ever wanted to be a writer. It's even more helpful because by doing this I can advance on working with my gaming show I've been mapping out for the last week. I haven't nailed down how I want to approach it all completely yet, but I must have I have been having a lot of fun in the process of trying to make it all work.

Lesson Learned: Just because you judge yourself too harshly before others do, doesn't mean it's what people will think. Learning to give it all by putting your best hoof forward you can achieve whatever your heart's desire is!
