  Backstory:

  Full name: Dupluna Selena van Helix

  Dupluna was born on Wednesday, September 10th, 1000th year of Celestial era. Dupluna lived most of her live in Anti-Equestria. At age of 7, she started Canterlot Elementary School. Dupluna finished school at the age of 8 because the school's education department placed her in 5th grade. At the age of 11, she finished middle school, but Anti-Equestria doesn't have high schools so Dupluna's time in school ended very early.

  Dupluna has a sister named Fauxlestia and a mother whose name is Galaxy. What happened to their father or his thereabouts are unknown.

  After Dupluna finished school, she and her family moved to Equestria. She and her other family members dropped the royal titles, and her mother currently works as Princess Celestia's helper.

  While her sister and mother work and live in Canterlot, Dupluna chose a more down-to-earth town, and so, she moved to Ponyville. There, she met the Mane Six, Starlight Glimmer, her future pet own Booky, and more. She briefly attended the School of Friendship, and made even more friends there. 

  Nowadays, Dupluna is a volunteer and helps ponies and other creatures in need.

   Friendship Melody is a rhythm browser pony game. It was initially released in May 2023 during the Winter Wrap Up Event, came back a year later during the Shimmering Equinox Event, and now, once more, it's time to have some fun again, with new songs to play!

   Play the game available on MLP Forums, in your browser, on PC, mobile or any device that can run modern internet browsers.

   The event will feature two new songs - "The Magic of Friendship Grows" and "Rules of Rarity."
   Play both songs on any difficulty, and submit your results in this topic, by attaching screenshots or photos of your screen in your reply.
   An example of a valid submission:

   "The Magic of Friendship Grows" and "Rules of Rarity"!
   This time the game doesn't have any particular theme. I just added songs, that were requested/mentioned during previous events. It's all for you ponies! Thank you for supporting the game! 💛 There were more songs mentioned, but it took me a long time to polish the game overall, so for now I selected only two.
   Also these songs are in their full glory! I've listened to your feedback and didn't cut songs to make them shorter. You can blast pony songs on full volume and sing along!
   ...and nothing too crazy besides that I suppose. I improved some core parts of the game and added plenty of quality of life improvements. Probably most of these changes will be overlooked, but it's all thanks to the little details, that make the game prettier.

It turned out, that due to my oversight, the controls were CASE-SENSITIVE. This meant, that enabled CAPS-LOCK could prevent input from being recognized. I have adjusted the key-bindings to be CASE-insensitive. MENU NAVIGATION OVERHAUL

   Note Speed setting now accurately represents the actual Speed multiplier. The default is x1.0, and it can be adjusted from x0.5 to x2.0, which realistically means from half to double speed. Previously, due to how Speed was originally programmed, it used to display a rather arbitrary value to more or less visualize the difference, but it never meant the actual multiplier, hence why the default was x1.9. In this version, how the Speed is calculated was reprogrammed to allow accurate, user-friendly configuration  
    
   Potentially Asked Questions
   Q: Do I have to download the game?
   A: No, it's playable inside MLP Forums. Just keep in mind, that the game will have to load assets, notably music tracks, that might weight a bit. Refreshing the page will require the game to load assets again, and the process may vary between browsers/devices. Typically files should be cached by your browser into your local storage to avoid having to redownload them, but there are factors, that may affect this.
   Q: The game broke, what should I do?
   A: Refresh the page, and if possible, please reply here to let me know what happened, so that I can look into it.
   Q: What if the game gets stuck at loading resources?
   A: If it gets stuck on "loading music" without displaying any in-game errors, close the game and try again few minutes later. Generally, the first time you run the game, it should load the files without problems. However, if you refresh the page and attempt to load assets multiple times in quick succession, the server MLPF is run on may refuse to provide music files, and constantly refreshing the page will not help. This is something I haven't figured out a workaround for yet.
   Q: I entered the Gameplay Screen, but nothing is happening, what to do?
   A: The game is unplayable if relevant song file cannot be played. Given it's a rhythm, music-focused game, the timing and some of the game functions rely directly on song files and their parameters. If the song doesn't play, the map attached to it can't be played properly. This may happen, when for whatever reason the game went through the loading screen even if the files weren't properly provided by the server, OR when music files stop working in the middle of session (maybe your browser freed these from memory or something). You can try to choose another song that still works, or refresh the page to reload all files.
    
   Because it's a browser game, and there are plenty of browsers that behave differently, and also because the game loads files from the server I have no control of, unfortunately I cannot guarantee bug-free experience despite my best efforts. When I play the game locally during development, such problems don't occur. Of course if anyone manages to find ways to improve the game's stability and quality overall, I'll do my best to try things out. Thank you for your understanding.
