• Physical Description

  A big, tan pegasus with brown eyes, brown and green wavy hair, and a turtle wearing sunglasses as a Cutie Mark.

• Backstory

  Turtle Dove was a bit different from the rest of the foals, being a bit more lanky than them and having a flat affect (similar to Maud Pie). Friends did not always come easy to him and for the longest time, he wondered if he was doing something wrong. He would try to act more like the others, but that just never felt like "him". As he grew older, Turtle came to the conclusion that he would rather be himself at the dissatisfaction of others than be a different pony just to please others. This realization eventually led him to earning his Cutie Mark and discovering that he was meant to take life at his own pace.

  Once Turtle learned to truly accept himself, friends eventually came to him. He found ponies that accepted him as he was and were willing to be their true selves, as well. He was elated to realize that he never had to pretend for anyone.

  When it came time to finding a job, Turtle thought he would make a good tennis player. Although sports aren't too big in Sire's Hollow, there were still enough resources for him to train and eventually travel across Equestria to play in tournaments. He absolutely loved this sport since everything boils down to strategy and good timing.

• Key Moments

  - Turtle earned his Cutie Mark the day he realized there were ponies out there who love him for who he is.

  - Turtle's first job was at a sporting goods store.

  - Turtle discovered he was bisexual at age 16 when he realized he could develop crushes on mares and stallions. His parents were fully supportive of this and didn't mind if Turtle wanted to bring a stallion home. He only did so once, but the relationship only lasted half a year. He is currently in a relationship with Pencil Pouch and couldn't imagine being with anypony else.

  - Turtle won his first tennis tournament in Ponyville.

• Personality

  Despite his very limited range of expressions, Turtle Dove is full of emotion. He experiences the same emotions as anypony else, just through his eyes. If ponies get to know him well enough, they can learn to read him well. Turtle loves to experience new things but he loves to do so at his own pace. He never likes to rush into anything and can't stand ponies who live for hustle culture. He loves the outdoors and anything to do with sports but he doesn't mind indoor activities, especially with his marefriend since she loves quiet, indoor activities. Turtle is big on fitness and educating others about the importance of health and exercise. Not a day passes where he doesn't stress the importance of getting fresh air, clean water, and good exercise. For those less fortunate who do not always have this opportunity, he is more than willing to donate his time and bits to help those in need.

  Turtle is not the most social of ponies but does not always know how to express that, so he may up and trot away from somepony if he feels that his social battery is drained. He knows that makes it hard to make and keep friends, but at times, he just can't help it. Some ponies will just talk his ear off and he needs a break!
