My awesome twin! See? Kismet. Fate knew! I'm glad to see despite how crazy life can be you just surf the waves like its nothing. Thank youuu I will be busy with some real life matters but you guys find ways to pull me back in with your warmth and kindness -- so here I am! Thank you, lovelyyyyy ... yours is around the corner, as well. *hugs* Thank you, Nito!! Remember that one time -- we met through mischief! I won't ever forget your first words to me, friend. Don't get me started! I admire your spirit. You're tough cookies and authentic. Remember when we went toe to toe that one time because [reda11 points

This one right here really got me. As an Admin observing many community activities, as much as we try to offer kindness and support from the outside -- it isn't until the person accepts themselves on the inside or loves themselves to some degree that the kindness and support truly come into full effect. This was a really inspirational blog post, Comander. I love this feeling. I am happy that you found a friend despite your expectations. Even better than you? Hmm... not sure but it definitely shows you have a lot of respect for him and that tells me that having a friend of such a high regard means you know you're worthy of8 points

Happy Forumversary Silky! I hope you have many, many happy memories in the future as well!6 points

I cannot tell you how many people have shared such a similar experience. It makes me smile when the outcome is of a more positive nature. But makes me sad when I imagine the fear and shock they initially go through. Poor darlings. This one has been a tough one to balance for me. I've given a lot of people who seem shy A TON of space because, I want them to feel safe in the long run... but everyone is different. Some people ask for the space and expect you to give it, and some people ask for the space but look at you from afar, longing for you to reach out and tell them they don't have to hide, then feel forgotten when you respect their6 points

this was really sweet to read >w< i feel the same, and i really do think it's awesome how so many people from all over the world can bond together in a shared space!! humans are social creatures and we're meant to bond with one another. this is something i do still struggle with though i'm very much one of those ponies who replies more than they message first but it's a work in progress!!!6 points

Yes, I study at a technical school, but I study for a specialty that I hate and I also work in this profession related to this specialty. Next year I am going to take the Unified State Exam and go to university to become a programmer, because I like programming. And also, with the help of this profession, I am going to move to the USA (maybe to Canada, but I'm not sure). Unfortunately, it is hard for me to prepare for exams now because I am attacked by procrastination. The exams are difficult and I have little time.5 points

You went to a tech school?! That's so cool! I thought about doing that once.5 points

O my gosh! Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes, Tom! O my gosh, you just called me a name I had not heard of in years!!! *tackle wing hugs* You have no idea how much this means to me. I love knowing there is love and beauty hope and friendship blooming no matter how crazy or dark the world can get. Keep going! You've always been a beautiful soul and even if you're no longer active around here -- you're missed, you're remembered and the memories live on eternally! Thanks for leaving your mark here. Give Josie my regards ;~; Keep blooming, you two. And I will always be here when you two need me.4 points

Awww, you should talk! You've been through so much in life and yet you allow nothing to stop your light from burning bright or kindling the embers when you feel your lights are dim. You are an inspiration to me.4 points

Our journey was truly something remarkable—almost as if our story could’ve been lifted straight from a Shakespearean play. And absolutely, here’s to an another year Silky, I have never been more proud to be part of the community and working with friends as staffers!4 points

I think it needs to be experienced. If I hadn't experienced it, who knows what would have happened, maybe I wouldn't have overcome shyness. If you don't overcome difficulties, it's unlikely you can achieve anything.4 points

Yes, it scared me and I was more shy then. Thank you! I also hope that shy users will be able to overcome their shyness and communicate with someone. Communication here has changed me for the better. If someone shy is reading this, remember that we are all capable of many things and you are capable of overcoming your shyness. Take the first step, write a message to someone, you will succeed! And one more piece of advice. Don't be afraid to seem weird, be yourself. Ahaha, this comic perfectly describes the situation that happened then Thank you! I enjoyed reading your blog too! I'm glad you're working on it,4 points

Six little ponies told me that it might be a very special anniversary today… I said ‘Don’t tell me… Is it a very special somepony’s Forumiversary today?’ They each gave a tiny jerk of their heads and a smile… and I knew immediately who it was… HAPPY FORUMIVERSARY, PRINCESS SILKY WINGS!!!!! EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK, ELEVEN WONDERFUL YEARS AND LOOK AT HOW FAR YOU’VE COME!!!! I’M SOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! I always wished there were more people in this world like you and I will always stand by that. This world needs very, very special people to be a source of light… a beacon of kindness… a warm, fuzzy presence and a bundle of energy and that’s3 points

Happy forumversary Silky! I envy your commitment with the forum, 11 years is such a long run here, and I sincerely hope it continues that way3 points

Happy forumsversy! Whew that was a mouthful to type haha. Anyway… wow. There’s so much I could say about this long journey we’ve shared, my friend. There were so many moments when it felt like we might go our separate ways, but somehow—like invisible threads—we were always pulled back, never drifting too far apart. You’ve shown me what true friendship really looks like, in ways I didn’t even realize I needed. For so long, I felt like I was just drifting, searching for an island—a place to belong. And through it all, you’ve been my compass, quietly guiding me toward that place MLPF; meeting new people, creating new form of friendship3 points

I agree, however I would not say it was malice on Princess Celestia's part, more like ignorance, Princess Luna's pain built up from all the neglect and discrimination from other ponies, and eventually she sought solace from a dark power that took over her, depending on if you connect the comics to the TV show canon, some people do not, however that's beside the point, it is clear that Luna's weremare fiasco could have been avoided if Princess Celestia had discussed it with her sister sooner, if we are talking about the TV show MLP FIM only, Celestia was not directly to blame for the misunderstanding that occurred, but what she did, did contri3 points
-
You're right. Luna does get underappreciated and it's true that Princess Celestia could've payed more attention to her feelings, and that might have even prevented her from banishing Luna (aka Nightmare moon) in the first place. Thank you for those kind words, @Iforgotmybrain! Your idea for Luna mentoring the CMCs is also really good. I got hooked and tried finding fanfictions on this topic but I think nobody wrote one.3 points
-
Princess Luna's duties are so overlooked, and she is a misunderstood character who I feel gets criticized far too often, in fact there are more issues with Celestia than with Luna, as Princess Celestia though it may not be intentional, Princess Luna's mental health problems could have been paid more attention to by her sister, I know Celestia is not a qualified mental health expert either, however she is still a family member, that is the important part, I love them both equally however I don't feel like Luna gets appreciated enough, yes she is popular, at the same time though, some of the criticisms fans give this character in my opinion are3 points

Good blog! I think it would’ve been cool to see Luna continuing to mentor the CMC as the seasons went on. Like how Celestia has the mane 6, she could’ve had the CMC. Would’ve been interesting I think from what we saw in the three episodes you talked about!3 points

caution is always important of course ^~^ keeping an enemy too close to you can certainly lead to disaster, and so i think an arms length approach is very responsible for it <3 thank you for your insight!!! im super glad it left an impression on you >w< im definitely looking forward to what you have to say in yours3 points

Not every man is a brother. Not every lady is a sister. Even if you think the world a family, remember, even family members can become distant or harmful. ...And as much as it hurts to discover; sometimes a jerk is just a jerk. We can learn these lessons at a young age. We hear them in colorful metaphors like "You can be the tastiest apple in the orchard, but there will always be someone that hates apples." But these life lessons will never fully click until we experience it first hand. We can have these lessons in the back of our mind, sure, but we never stop learning. Learning truly comes from experience. Not to disqualify lesson3 points

Wow. Isn’t it amazing? Something so seemingly small. And yet you’ve made such a big splash! the big title thing made me smile, btw haha I love seeing your personality seasoned through your lessons learned. Sometimes you may feel like you don’t matter. Just a lurker who is observing, but your existence makes a difference. And it has already made a difference in the people whom you have engaged with here. Maybe it’s like a microcosmic reflection of a macrocosmic thing. The same would apply to in-person life. But it is so easy to forget. I love hearing about your journey and progress as you come out o3 points

I enjoyed reading this, I canal agree with you on certain parts, people can be evil, but not all (such as your IRL friend) I am still stuck IRL since I am going to enter my 11th year in high school and it may be harsh for me (I don't want to be too direct because I have negative feelings when being very specific about academical stuff for some odd reason) lot of academical work to put effort in, even though last year was already brutal in itself) anyways, (related to education, I hope you do better and work hard enough to pass that unified state exam (I've heard of it from a Russian friend that I haven't talked with online for a while now, he2 points

You know, I was struggling with this, as well. But I have come to realize that even if you build an empire from the ground up, get everything right, or if you have done endless good in the world or if your methods have proven to be 100% effective in doing good — there will always be someone watching from the distance talking so much bollocks or warping what you really mean or what you have done. lol It tends to be a reflection of their projection or short sight. So, just be you! People will talk anyway. So long as you’re standing by your principles and you’re not allowing people’s judgments to sway you from who really you are - hav2 points

aaa! thank youuu >w<!! people forget things all the time in in-person life.. i think people tend to be more guarded with what parts of them are on display. your stories are always just that.. your stories.. meaning, you tell them at your own time ^~^ yeah it's something im still working on :3 i think everyone is still working on that, to a degree..2 points
