  1. Well since I have nothing better to do... and I'd hate to have my cupcake privileges taken away... I might just make a new character though; one that's a bit less... umm... well anyway, If I can think of one before this starts then I'll let you know, but to be honest, I have way to many OCs as it is...
  2. Collision looked down to see Thunder standing beneath him. "Thunder!" he cried happily then, hesitating a little, "Umm... I dunno how to get down... not even sure how I got up here..." he brightened suddenly, "But I can be a scout and stuff! I'll roof-jump and keep an eye out for bad guys!"
  3. Loro stood back, proud of his work. He'd turned a wooden cart into a atomic push mechanism, in other words, a mine depot machine. Makeshift cogs sat along holes in the cart, and long metal poles of different sizes pointed to a central point upon the cart. Loro smiled sadly. "This isn't going to work." he said softly. The chances of the machine even activating were slim, and teleportational capabilities were even thinner. Not to mention the serious risks of if it did work... Matter placement was a tricky subject. He stood nervously next to the machine, afraid to turn it on for fear of what it might do. A thought occurred to him, something that had slipped his mind completely throughout the construction process. "Aether!" Loro cried aloud, amazed at his foolishness. Without aether, there was no way that he'd get anywhere... But where could he get it from? The attacks that the horned ponies were using looked similar to aether... maybe he could look into that. Determined for his creation to function, Loro got to work. Gathering aether was going to be hard... and dangerous...
  4. Uhh... I dunno about this. My character doesn't really fit in, and he'd probably just ruin it for everyone else... So I'm not really sure wether to sign up again. I don't want everyone to hate me for having a wierd character XD
  5. "Aww, dammit!" Collision cried in annoyance at the sight of what had befallen the town in his absence. There were flames roaring, broken buildings, fighting ponies... Thoughts circled his head quickly; Stay and fight Stay and hide Run away... Eventually, his conscience got the better of him, and Collision leapt into action. True to his name, he bounced and collided along the main street, dodging blades, wayward spells and the hooves of the undead. A particularly potent bounce propelled him into the air, and the kid landed on the roof of a burning building. He stretched out, looking for his friends. There was too much going on! It was damn near impossible to make out anyone, let alone the good guys.
  6. "Huh!?" Speedway looked back in surprise to see another Pegasus flying towards him. The sudden movement caught him off balance and his wings ceased to catch the strong winds. Speedway plummeted, his wings hanging uselessly at his side, his mane whipped and rushed by strong winds.
  7. Speedway sighed thoughtfully. That hour he had to kill had suddenly turned into two days... what now? He had nowhere to stay, and nothing really to do, except explore the town. Something told him that he wouldn't be seeing Animae and Charmer for a while, maybe it was how well they'd been getting along before he left. He smiled a little, glad that they had clicked with each other, and then returned his thoughts to the situation he was in. Maybe he could visit the library by himself, read some books? Nah, maybe not. An idea struck him; flying! Maybe he could work out a way of using his thin wings to increase his flying skill in the wide skies of Ponyville. Speedway braced himself, then took off, sticking close to the ground and drifting through the streets slowly. At last, he pushed them harder, propelling himself into the air, and remaining there, high above the town. From up there, he noticed a gathering in the park below him. It was difficult to see who was down there, and so he attempted to fly a little lower. A sudden heavy gust of wind caught him off balence, and he tumbled in the sky, trying desperately to gain height.
  8. Oh yeah... Didn't really think of that... but if everyone is starting new, then I'll probably have to change half of i... Okay, changed my mind. I'll stay... : D
  9. Okay, I might give this one a miss then... I can't be bothered going through all the character intro stuff again XD Might check it out again if it starts to work a bit, but... dunno. A reboot is a good idea though, it's all kinda gone chaotic!
  10. Uhh as fun as bullying the residents of Ponyville is... Are there any calls of order for the changelings, or should I just hang around trying to find spies and rebels, while terrorising some innocents? Cause I could totally keep doing that... ; )
  11. Loro scampered from building to building, salvaging the materials he'd need to build parts. The dragon felt a little guilty for stealing from the citizens, but the realisation that none of them would be returning in the near future dampened this. After just a few hours, he'd collected a myriad of metal items. He returned each handful to his 'base'; an empty warehouse on the street. With the small fortune of metal at his feet, Loro decided at last that it was time to get started. Umm... Get started... He had no idea of where to start. Depot machines were insanely difficult to build, especially when he was making do with scrap... It would take all of his technological knowledge to do this and so, at last, the ore dragon got to work.
  12. Collision walked down the empty street reflecting on the past event. "Man.." he said softly to himself, "If I hadn't left when I had, then that could have gotten pretty awkward..." So, where to now? He had some time to kill until he met them at the library. He could always go and book his train tickets.... Speedway nodded to himself, and set off for the station. After a while of walking, he found it. It was small, very unlike the stations of the city... "Uhh... Hello, I'd like so buy some tickets to..." he hesitated. Where to? It would have to be a city. Hotels were abundant there, so sleeping arrangements wouldn't be an issue. One of the place names caught his eye, a place at the far end of the train route, miles from here. "Twinklecube? Never heard of that before..." The old station master, a wise looking pony frowned kindly. "Oh, you don't want to go there. It's miles away, and isolated too." "What is it? A town?" The station master shook his head thoroughly. "Nope, a small city. But it's the end of the line... nopony really goes there... and like I said, isolated." Speedway shrugged. "Works for me. How much for a one way ticket?" The station master looked carefully at Speedway. "Are you sure you won't re-consider? Ponyville is a lovely town... it's just quiet because of the storm." "Nah, I... I'm a city person." Speedway said eventually. He did hesitate though... something about this town seemed calm and peaceful. Besides, he'd already made friends. He handed the money over. "So when's the train?" "Not for a while yet..." the old pony replied. "Two days." then, upon noticing Speedway's reaction, he shrugged. "Like I said, It's far away. Nopony really goes there." With the tickets stowed away in his near empty saddlebag, Collision left the train station. He still had a while to kill before meeting the others, and so he decided to explore the town some more.
  13. Collision sat on the hard barren ground and sighed. "I've made a terrible mistake..." Behind him, a huge stretch of wasteland, in front of him... the same. He'd been hopping towards that city for a while now, and gradually he'd started to look at his decision a bit better. He was leaving a whole group of friends, along with a chance of fame and adventure... To head for an unknown city miles out into the wasteland. He sat for a while, thinking, and images circled his head. Friends like Star, Meta and Thunder... Eventually, the kid reached a decision, and he stood once again. He then turned, and ran full pelt back to the mountain, and the village that lay beneath it. He only hoped that his friends hadn't started the adventure without him!
  14. "There's not really much to tell," Speedway answered, "I was born in the outskirts of Manehattan.. it was a rough area. I was forced into street racing by my dad, then..." He trailed off, noticing the pair properly. How hadn't he seen it before?! He was getting in the way! Those two needed some time alone, and he was ruining it! "I think I left something in the cafe.." Speedway quickly said. "I'll catch you up in a bit!" He moved off, back they way they'd come, leaving the two alone
  15. (OOC Speedway could just die, and no-one would notice XD) Speedway nodded, following the two. Once again he remained silent, allowing the others time to talk. Animae seemed to be getting along well with Charmer, and vice versa. It was kinda nice watching the two interact, and he felt at peace here. Sometimes, too at peace... he kept drifting off, daydreaming only to be woken by the others. He'd have to pay attention in future, otherwise he'd get left behind!
  16. "Right," Salem announced as his group reached the street, "It's time for you to instigate fear, and oppression into these fools. Could anyone give a suggestion of how to intimidate these ponies?" There was no answer, and Salem sighed. "Typical. Well it seems that I've been given the job of teaching you soldiers to rule." The lizard suddenly kicked out a leg, knocking over a display of apples from a market stall. "Step one ladies, cause chaos. The enemy aint going to prosecute you when you rule over them." The stall owner walked out from behind to chastise Salem, but stopped dead upon seeing his foe and his foe's team. Salem promptly strode up to him and, with a single flick of his tail, knocked the owner to the ground. "Step two," Salem announced remorselessly, "Don't take any trouble. If any one of these multicoloured equines attempts to give you hassle, then you give it back to them." He looked down on the terrified stall owner. "Step three. If the hassle continues, then you kill them." The owner remained wide eyed and silent, replicating the hush that had fallen across the market. Salem smiled coldly, "Good boy." He kicked the stall owner then continued walking, followed by his unit. "The ponies will soon learn that if they protest, then they end up dead. Sometimes, an example to others is better than forgiveness."
  17. "Uh.. no, I'm okay." Speedway replied. "I ate a while ago. You guys get some stuff though." He felt kinda out of place in a place like this; it was all pink and fancy. "To be honest, cakes aren't really my thing." He'd had cake only a few times, and they were both on special occasions. the idea of eating some so freely seemed alien.
  18. Speedway Speedway walked behind them, remaining silent. He followed the pair, allowing them peace to talk together. Charmer seemed to know where she was going, and so he was able to see the town without getting lost. It was nice, in a simple way. No glaring neon, no endless skyscrapers. Wait... did she say Rainbow Dash? He was pretty sure that he recognised the name from somewhere... but nah, it was probably just his imagination. Speedway returned his attention to the pair ahead of him. Charmer had asked him something. "Oh.. I'm just from the city. The outskirts of Manehattan."
  19. "Wait, Animae..." Speedway called, but it was too late; he'd flown off. "Man... he's always doing that..." Speedway looked back to Charmer. "Umm... I really don't mind. You know the town better than me so... It's your call." he smiled a little. "Just go wherever you think is good." Speedway looked up at the rainbow trail, and sighed. With Animae gone, he felt awkward; the griffin took the attention away from him, leaving him in in the background. But now... all of charmer's attention was directed at him! (OOC so wait, did Animae go?)
  20. Speedway smirked a little at Animae, but introduced himself regardless, shuffling shyly. "Oh.. Yeah, I'm speedway... It's nice to meet you charmer." he noticed the rainbow trail and watched it for a couple of seconds, before quickly looking down at his hooves.
  21. Speedway looked up. "Okay, I definitely heard it that time." he raised his voice, "Hello? Is... Somepony there?" He couldn't see anyone on the street behind them, so maybe she was out of sight. At least, it sounded like a her... Speedway looked to Animae for help. "Should we go and find them?"
  22. Speedway looked back, puzzled. "I.. I thought I saw somepony." He shrugged and continued walking. "We didn't find much on the flight. Wanna try the library or something? That is, if this town even has a library... Or a cafe. There's bound to be somepony in the cafe."
  23. Luminess was surprised and slightly frightened to find a reply to his letter, and from the princess herself. He read over it a few times, fretting about what to do. One thing was for sure however; the head would not be happy. "Sir... I have received a letter... From the princess... About number seven." The head scientist whipped around in anger, knocking over an experiment he was overseeing. "What!? How! How could she know about its activa..." his eyes narrowed. "You.... you told her..." "I don't see why it's an issue sir. She just wants to examine it in more detail!" Luminess protested, backing away in fear of his boss. "That isn't supposed to happen... she wasn't supposed to find out..." the head muttered to himself. He turned his attention to Luminess. "From now on, I'll continue the correspondence! Now get out of my sight..." Luminess fearfully obliged, and the head sat at one of the desks, carefully writing a reply. Majestic Princess Luna I apologise for the previous letter, sent by an overly enthusiastic colleague. In reality, the device in question is not fully operational, and is therefore of no importance to your no doubt exceptionally busy schedule. The offender will be punished for his foolish behaviour. Yours sincerely Hype Atlass Head of the arcane science group.
  24. "Bullied for being green?" Speedway queried. "Aren't a lot of ponies gr..." he trailed off. "I'm guessing that griffins aren't usually multicoloured..." He heard a voice behind him, and turned to see another pony walking towards them. He stepped back, to let Animae do the talking.
  25. Collision ran towards the crowd, entranced by its sudden appearance. He hadn't solved anything, found anything, nor even reached the top! This was too good to be true, he was a hero! Then something caught his eye, something far off that he could make out only distantly. A town, no, a city sat on the horizon, surrounded by flashing lights, and buildings that sparkled in the light. All thoughts of adventure left his mind as he saw the town, and the kid skidded to a halt. He turned away from the crowd to get a clearer view of the city. It looked so... "Awesome!" he cried out suddenly. He turned back to the crowd, noticing how strangely they moved, repetition and humourless laughter. The sight chilled him a little, and he started away from them, towards the city. It was about a weeks walk away but still... A voice nagged him in the back of his mind. 'What about your friends?' He could make new friends... friends who liked his personality and were fun to be around. With that thought in mind, Collision bypassed the still cheering crowd, and set off down the other side of the mountain, bouncing with joy. Thoughts of heroism had been replaced with thoughts of flashing lights and a shiny skyline, much in the way that one fad overtakes another.
