Simpsons usually has some really good ones

The last two aren't Simpsons but they're fun to use nonetheless

However, I haven't seen anything that suggests that there is some kind of systemic dislike of RD in the MLP fandom.  In fact, given her routine appearance high up in 'best pony' or 'best mane 6' polls

That may have been the case back in 2011-2012, but certainly isn't anymore. She's fallen very much out of favor, nowadays Rainbow Dash really seems to bring out the worst of people in this fandom, you can't have any sort of discussion about the character without several people blowing blood vessels and acting like she murdered their dogs

A lot of it sounds promising, but at the same time, a lot of it leaves me a bit worried, mainly, as you said, with execution being the difference maker. I don't think there's a problem with trying to be different as it usually helps a product stand out, but at the same time your at the risk of being intrusive to the experience rather than improving, which was a huge problem with the Wii and Wii U(especially when not used properly)

That said, if this is true, I do like hearing that it's very easy to develop for, at the very least this means porting won't be a pain in the ass like the Wii and Wii U was, and hopefully this means it won't miss out on games as much as the other 2. I'm mixed on the whole "on par with the Xbox One" as it could also mean "slightly weaker" or slightly stronger", normally it's better to make your console to be more powerful than the competition, but I don't think it'll hurt 'em significantly and I'd assume they want to release it at a competitive price by sacrificing power, but leaving enough to still hold it's own. And I don't think Nintendo has to worry about the next gen of consoles for now once you take into account that the last gen lasted longer than any other gen of consoles, and considering how well the Xbox One and especially the PS4 are currently doing, I could see Sony and MS sitting on their current consoles for a bit longer

The only real reason I see the two getting shipped as much as they are is because AJ is the only character that's not Rarity or Twilight that he's had more than 30 seconds of screentime with.

Ummm...no. I've seen a lot of times where bronies hate others over trivial things such as characters and episodes. Seriously, bronies will hate each other just as much as they hate "haters". Hypocrites.

It just strikes me as odd that for the past few years many Bronies insisted the show should cater to them, and then call it "Pandering" when one episode is devoted entirely to the adult fandom. Why not just accept the gift in the spirit it was given?

You gotta remember that not everyone likes all that fanon stuff, and I'd argue that it isn't a "vocal minority" like some would say, but a noticeable split among fans.

The episode was gonna be incredibly divisive ever since it was announced it was gonna be about BG ponies, not everyone likes a lot of the fanon/brony memes this fandom makes. For me, it just felt like a brony meme wankfest that just left a sour taste in my mouth. To me a 100th episode should be an episode that's a celebration of the show but Slice of Life was anything but

With this and the Hey Arnold movie, Nickelodeon is trying to remind people of when it was good, like the former high school football star clinging to his glory days.

I don't see why they need to bring back "Legends of the Hidden Temple", at least as a TV movie, I'd understand bringing it back as a gameshow, but a TV movie seems a little silly. At least bringing back Hey Arnold makes since the series ended with open plots(notably Arnold's parents), but they shouldn't bring back shows that already ended just to bank on the current 90's nostalgia rush, if anything I think they should bring back shows that ended up being cancelled when they still had a lot of juice still in them(like MLaaTR, Zim)

Fluttershy's cuteness is weird for me. While I do find her absolutely adorable, I don't find it special, and a lot of that is mostly because of the way she's presented. To me cuteness feels like one of her defining trait, I always expect everything about her to be cute, and at first I like it, but after a while it kind of wears off. In contrast, with someone like Twilight, Rainbow, AJ, or Rarity, their cuteness/cute moments feels like a rare treat, it always feels welcome and I usually don't get tired of it.

It's like with foods you like for example, one you get all the time(say ramen) and the other you get on occasion(pizza). You like the ramen, but you have it so much that you eventually get used to it and feel neutral when you eat it, on the other hand you still love getting pizza because you only have it from time to time, so you're more welcome to it

Twilight would be a Mage obviously

Fluttershy would obviously be a healer or beast master

The other 4 are more fun to think about imo.

AJ would probably work as a Paladin, brute(or whatever you call heavy classes) or even a brawler/monk

Rainbow could also work as a brawler, or she could work as a Dragoon, or a quick class like a ninja or thief

Rarity could work as a spellcaster, personally I like her as a Red Mage, but fencers and archers also works

Pinkie Pie seems to be really popular with music based classes, so a Bard or Dancer could work. I also like the idea of her being a joker

It's a forum for a show you deliberately find offensive for the most unreasonably extreme of reasons, not liking the current direction of the show is understandable, but sometimes you have to wonder why you're wasting your time talking about a show you have an extreme dislike for
